3 g sensor literally saved our washing machine for 2-3 year. We couldn't find the exact suspensions for our model and it worked for like that. Very tough machines 💪

This seems like a pointless exercise. I wonder if anyone cares about the functionality this provides and if anyone is taking into account the inherent security risks of connecting so many iot devices to your home network.
Just bought a dishwasher with this. The only thing I care about is when the program will finish, which is pretty clear from the projected light anyway. I won't be connecting.

In my machine the brewing unit gets absolutely fcked up with coffee grounds that get mouldy. How am I supposed to clean that with only water? Like the whole thing is literally covered with coffee grounds. Is it malfunctioning or does it just need to be cleaned more often?

Please consider making the Mobile App screen clearly visible, next version of this video. Also within the App, rather than just displaying the "remote start" icon, explicitly state "remote start button", as the integrated version of iQ500 just has the text "remote start" (there is no remote start icon) consequently you confuse and frustrate your customers! It would also be good if you'd have said where invited users can find their invitations, so they don't need to go through the connection/setup process.

Unfortunatly our new iq700 (newest model with a black transparant door) makes an annannoying high pitched sound when using Vario Speed. The machine is gorgeous but this sound is horrible. We live small so there is no way to escape from this sound. Is this normal? Dont hear this in any of the samples.

Hi, There are quite a few convenience factors this unlocks depending on the appliance type (dishwashers can create remote programmes, you can check programme status on dishwashers, ETC), but this isn't essential, and the appliances can run fine without Home Connect. Thanks - Craig
Two reasons: 1. Telemetry and data collection 2. Cloud functionality Smart products for the average person all work over the cloud, so you can access them outside your local network, among other things. However there is no reason why there can't be a local-only option which respects user privacy. Even home assistant can only access home connect products in your local network through first contacting a remote api with your credentials.

When the motor doesn't turn the drum, I could change the brushes but now that these are brushless, what do I replace now? (mine has just done this).

@@SiemensHomeUK It's an iQ500 - WM12T469ES/01. The issue is that it pauses after partially filling with water when it should be slowly tumbling the washing. It does this a few times until it senses that the drum hasn't moved and resets the program back to the start time and the two circle symbol with a padlock starts to flash. In the instructions it says that this symbol flashing means: When the program has started: The washing machine door is not closed properly. And later on it adds: Laundry may be trapped. Open and close the door again and press the ‹ button. ■ If necessary, push the door closed or remove the trapped laundry and then push it closed again. ■ If necessary, switch the appliance off and then on again; set a programme and apply the settings you require; start the programme. None of these reasons are why the drum isn't turning. The drum turns by hand with the normal resistance (drum belt fine), I've opened the screw-in drain plug (nothing there, spins freely) and drained the water from the machine from the small hose. I've tried resetting it by turning the dial to 6 o'clock, holding down the spin speed button and then turning the dial to 7'oclock. Doesn't work like it does on models with brushes but it now displays E:00 which I've read means there's no error messages. I've changed the locking mechanism as that worked on an older Bosch machine but not this time. The drum fills with water so there isn't a problem with the infill hose (removed and cleaned) and the drum drains so no blockages there (unclipped the black hose underneath, all clear). I've removed and replaced the connectors on the motor, nothing loose, so I'm left thinking there must be a problem with a motherboard somewhere or there's another way of resetting everything after a brain fart (turning it off and on again hasn't worked). I've just run a 15 minute express wash and after 3 minutes of water coming in and pausing, the clock reset back to 15 minutes whilst it drained the water. The main difference this time was that the two circled lock symbol didn't flash, it just sat there so I had to turn it off and unplug it so I could open the door with the manual lever. I'm guessing I'm going to need an engineer to test the electronics unless you know a secret memory reboot?

@@SiemensHomeUK Yeah, I thought as much. One last thing, I just saw a video where I was able to go to P02 after doing the 6 o'clock reset and this allows me to do an automatic test. When I hit the start/pause button it beeps at me and gives me an E:51 error code. Can't find E:51 on any Siemens error code sites, any ideas?
Hi, it can vary per model and timing the error occurs, unfortunately tests via an engineer would be needed to accurately determine.
Looks over complicated for such a simple function, should be one press no BS function.

Fucking piece of shit brand. The imbecile who designed my siemens frige placed the door alarm bell based on temperature, not if the door was opened. The same idiot used a "no frost" system that clogs the fridge into having low temperature. Result, the alarm is going off every few hours, no way to fucking sleep a full 8 hours night without that fucking piece of shit beeping. I spend a week unfreezing it without fridge, less than 2 moths later is clogged again. As soon as i can, i am throwing this absolute piece of shit to the rubbish and never buying anything siemens again. I am writinng this a 5am a day i do not have to wake up until 8am because your fucking alarm decided to beep out of the fucking nowhere. Worst fucking electrodomestic brand i have seen in 40 years
Our Siemens IQ300 just fails Only at the Final rinse stage in the Last 5 min of wash cycles. Pumps fine when we turn dial to 0 and then select "Empty" obviously all blockages cleared so wondering would new pump or card be required. Thanks for any help.

Why the time needs to be set manually when the oven could get the time from a NTP server? Also the interface to the user for setting time and date is really a bad and unefficient design
I cannot remove the cover (14b) on the brewing unit. The video shows that it is removed very easily but mine does not come off and I’m too scared to force it.

To be honest the 3G sensor is just annoyingly calibrated. My Siemens washer sometimes completely refuses to spin even though the drum is just a very little bit off balance. And other times it spins though the load is completely off balance so that I have to fear that the tumble dryer standing on the washer is falling down. But the bright side is that the spider of the machine is nearly finished(after only 3 years) so that I can buy another washer which is absolutely not gonna be a BSH washer

How can I have hotter coffee?
Hello, thank you very much for getting in touch. You can change the temperature the coffee brews at in the settings of the machine, but we would also advise that for the best coffee temperature you should use a warm cup, such as rinsing the inside of the cup with hot water before the coffee gets dispensed. If using a programme with milk, we would advise for the milk to be warmer than straight from the fridge, so letting it warm up slightly from fridge temperature can help with better results. - Thanks Brett
