  It's a gamble, but I figured with the dude in full burner lazily in front of me the missile would have a chance to track. Under the hood explanation is that the SW growl is set by module makers (and doesn't necessarily have a 1:1 to missile tracking once missile is launched which is ED's responsibility, so it can be worth just shooting if you think parameters are good).

  Yeah, tbh, it's super fun, maybe coming primarily from WW2 sims, it is just so much fun to fly and really feels like the peak of the WW2 dogfight mentality.

  I don't know my settings off the top of my head, but can check. Setup = 7800X3D, 64 GB DDR5 (5600), 4090, the usual recs for DCS (M2 SSD), and a Pimax Crystal. DCS is a bit of a bear to run, so you ideally need to max your PC (even then it will hit the performance wall quickly). Highly recommend if you are looking at VR headsets you buy from a seller that has a good return policy, quality control for all VR manufacturers is awful, so it's common to have to return like 2-3 headsets before you get a good one.

  @@doggy2601 yeah, Crystal goes ham with the resolution, I think for Q3 you really gotta play with the encoding settings to get it dialed in. You can always check the VR 4 DCS Discord or VR section on the ECW Discord for more VR help. There's more Q3 users/owners there and they def know more than me.
