    Dear Peter, I hope you will accept my remark of tiny importance. I wouldn't say level 1 one when the lever is down. It is actually 0. The upper level is 10, the lowest 0 since there are 10 intervals. This gives me the opportunity to say you are the model for rowers. You invented with your brother the C2 which remains the best rowing machine ever created. This video is extremely useful. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us. Jean-Luc from Paris

    Thanks for the video. However, I have to say, this is way complicated for something that should be able to be done without the need of a USB stick and be so intuitive, a manual wouldn't even be necessary.

    I can't get that bell curved stroke. How to get it?

  • @Ratatosk80
    @Ratatosk804 жыл бұрын

    Work on your form. Something which is very useful if your technique isn't that good is rowing without using the foot straps. Try something like 20 strokes per minute without straps. Going to take some adjustment to get used to it but it's very helpful for correct technique. Could be this will help your force curve looking better. I made massive improvement once I began practicing this. Also force curves can wary a bit how they look depending on what rowing style you have. Here is an in depth link: www.biorow.com/Papers_files/2006%20Rowing%20Biomechanics.pdf Page 16 shows 4 different types of force curves depending on rowing style.

    *This rower is great and exactly what we wanted.>>>**t.co/vL7T3ckMkc** Our only complaint is that the seat isn't the most comfortable and gets my butt sore after using for a few minutes. They sell a seat cushion for this and we will be buying one, but for the price I'd think they could just make the seat more comfortable.*

    Thanks for the video procedure. How about providing other video instructions for the C2 Dynamic (changing the bungee cord, replacing chain assembly, etc.)? There are plenty of Model D repair videos on youtube but this is only one for the Dynamic.

    Thanks for this. A poster on the Concept2 Forum pointed me here, and I'm grateful. As with Manintoga below, I'm a big guy, and my results have never lined up with my size and strength, due to the standard suggested breakdown of legs vs upper body 75/25 power contributions ratio being upside down for me. I'm sure that this video will help rectify this.

    Finally i have found an explanation and examples of how a "good" force curve should look like. One of the most important functions of the PM (for beginners) I think. Too hard to find information about this topic...strange, isnt it?Thx a lot for this video!

  • @shaylevy100

    Thanks for the video. Very helpful. No sure if it's possible to do given the size of the PM5 but it will be nice to have the ability to give names to the workouts. In your example instead of seeing v:20/:10...8 it will show "Tabata workout". First week for me using the SkiErg and I find it very challenging compared with rowing.

    My muscle activation is horrendous and i'm a big guy so im getting best splits at DS10.... DS below 5 feels like im going to break a ligament or fall off the damn machine... I'm doing HIIT with 30/60 now to get more explosiveness and this video is actually making sense....

    This should power you up but remember to mix this kind of trainning and a trainning on a damper setting above 4-5 with explosive workut in the gym. This kind of trainning is improving your fast muscles and you will have much smaller amount of lactatic acid in the blood.

  • @MonteOlsen

    if you wanted to work out, why not just ride? I mean I remember a few years back that I rode when I woke up, till the time I passed out, every day for an entire summer. and I lost like 50 pounds of fat from it, I don't get why you would spend thousands of dollars on equipment.

    Loads of reason to buy one 😂 firstly some people dont have a track to go to everyday and it will also help prevent crashes
