    Quick question on this. Would you have not saved money if you would have diluted the RV antifreeze? I’m looking at doing this with my tractor tires, but mine takes 92 gallons so I was thinking of putting 45 gallons of the RV antifreeze in it and then the other 45 of water so it would be a 50-50 mix. I understand yours was not that expensive because it required a lot less but just wondering what your thoughts would be on it since most automotive antifreezes you can buy 50-50 strength anyway.

    Not so lucky here. Got it red hot three times, oiled it, waxed it, beat on it with a hammer. Still would not pull apart. One end was tied to the tractor, other end to a dually truck. It just drags the truck around. If/when I get it apart I am adding zero fittings.

    @3:48 Why are you installing the Check valve on the Inlet Side, the Instructions call for it to be installed on the Outlet side? Instructions said to not use plastic fittings on the pump.

    My son’s 350 brake switch will catch sometimes. When he pulls the brake, it takes some fiddling with the brake handle to get the bike to take back off. I’ve considered disconnecting the brake switch

    Bought a Kubota Z422 with a 54" deck and 24" Kawi engine about 3 years ago.- love it! It replaced a Toro MX Titan MX 48" with a 24" Kawi engine. The Toro has been problematic and moved it to a backup mower since it has a bagger. The Kubota runs circles around the Toro.

    So what’s the point of the diesel if it doesn’t even power through tall grass better? I’m not an expert but I would assume the point of shelling out the cash for a diesel would be for the more consistent power and torque to help you power through thick stuff, but that doesn’t seem to be the case in this comparison. Am I missing something?

    I sold my kubota kommander pro z421 60cut 24hp kawasaki and got a deere Z760r 27hp kawasaki high capacity pro 60 cut with bagger system and i mowed this weekend and tryd to mow with the deck hight set at 2.5 and i had installed new blades on it at 20hrs and the cut quality was crap with and without bagger system worse so without. Idk if putting a multch on demand kit will get it to cut better or not or to just get anther kubota mower.

    2019 F150 5.0 10 speed - Purchased used and my issue was hard shifting when coming to a stop. Following these steps my transmission shifts like new again. Also, took the suggestions from another video, with cold temp, started truck and let set for 5-10 seconds, shift into drive and drove with light throttle while going through the gears then slowing down to a stop going through the gears. When temp reach 160 used med. throttle and did the same, up through all the gears and down through all the gears. Gears 1 to 10 now shift smoothly through all of them up and down. Even though this video was 3 years ago, the video instructions were still the same today.

    there is a learning procedure from ford for this, i work on them all the time and the learning procedure helps it so much more than just resetting it. reset it then drive it through all the gears ensuring it shifts between 1500-1800rpm and then lightly brake and allow it to shift down all the gears. then you use the shift lever to perform a sequence with the shifter. alot of the time it will skip second, that is normal. do this 6 times then it should help it alot

    That's pretty straight forward. Mine is soaked on the driver side. They "fixed" the sunroof so the grab handle stopped pouring on me, but floor still gets SOAKED in the rain. Any idea where to start? And "GOLD CERTIFIED" doesn't mean $HIT if you can't get Ford to cover ANYTHING. It's been 4 months of ownership.

    I just did this to my 2020 2.7 Liter F150. It immediately fixed it. No hard downshifts, and shifting was so smooth I couldn’t even tell when it was happening compared to before. A HUGE weight is off my shoulders now after spending 45K on a truck that would scare my wife and I with the random hard clunk downshifts. Not only the shifting, but general acceleration is fixed as well. PLEASE try this if you are having issues. Why FORD wouldn’t automatically do this when selling a used truck is beyond me. Thank you for the video bro.

    Tape is not the best option in this hot environment. The tape adhesive will eventually fail. I’d use a proper size hose clap to secure the elbow. As far as that catch can goes I’d go with the Full Race option. I had both. Full Race worked better than the JLT for me. However, once I started modding/ tuning the truck I lost the proper vacuum properties (installed a TurboSmart BOV) to make the Full Race operate off the CCV side of the motor like it was designed. Ended up using a JLT instead on the PCV side; it worked great!!! Aside from the fact that it would fill up fast as hell. Noticed blow-by would accumulate more when towing. The vehicle was tuned and modded (Accel wires/ coils, NGK spark plugs, TurboSmart BOV, Full Race oil catch can (then a JLT), Full Race intercooler, SPD down pipes, and Full Race CAI. It was a 2016 3.5 Expedition dyno’d at 401hp/ 603lbs/ft torque at the rear wheels. I say “…the truck was…” because the EcoBoost started showing its flaws. Fouled MAP and MAF sensors from oil blow-by. Fouled, oil saturated plugs, etc. With over 700lbs/ft of torque at the flywheel, I’m sure it contributed to the rear end grinding it started right before I got rid of it. Oh, and the IWE’s, or Independent Wheel Ends. We’re making horrible noises. Swapped the OEM air actuated models with the “always engaged” option. Nope… constant “whirring” noise because your front axles and transfer case are always turning now. Not to mention the diminished fuel economy. Traded the Expedition for a 2024 Ram. I’ll never do an engine that’s not naturally aspirated again!!!

    Thanks for the video. I want to try this on my 2020 edge st. I got the exact bs explanation from the dealer you described. Well worth the cost to try. It will be 150 to 200 bucks to evaluate. They will not even do the TSB without it, and if they deem it unnecessary, they charge you and do nothing. Just curious. Did this work for your truck?

I'm going to try what you did tomorrow. I believe it's called Halt adaptive learning but their is Adaptive learning off which is what I think I need to pick. I was under the impression that the adaptives are for the computer to adjust for clutch wear, and adjusts the pressure and speeds of the shifts…like you shouldn’t do this on an old transmission, and ONLY do it when it is replaced.

    Hi, I have a 19 mustang with the 10speed. I was thinking of turning adaptive learning off completely as well. Have you had any issues with it shifting and did you have to go through any kind of learning process like they say. Also did the change in turning it off stay or did you have to redo it again?

  • @0311tard
    @0311tard3 ай бұрын

    @@user-bk5ey9ws5g if you reset the adaptive learning, you will have to go through a learning process. I think it’s like 2 or 300 miles? Don’t quote me on that. But if you turn it completely off, it’s just a normal transmission that’ll shift the way the factory programmed it too. I haven’t had any issues shifting after I turned it off. But before, I thought I was gonna lose 2nd gear because it felt like it was slipping so much
