Just watched this again. Beautifully maintained strip, and beautiful landing as usual. The first time I watched I was concerned about the height of the trees on final. Then when you taxied back they seemed so far away from the approach end, but the terrain rises up so maybe that was the illusion. However, the first time I watched it I hadn’t notice the power lines at the airport boundary. Yikes that is a challenging approach, and I don’t think I have ever heard you go into beta so hard before…

That was my first time flying into this airport, It was plenty long, 4,500 feet & 60 wide. The terrain & trees, along with the power lines, definitely made this a unique approach especially seeing the power lines about a 1/2 mile final. The harder reverse is because I carried more speed on the final than usual, I had plenty of runway left, but first time landing there, I wanted to make sure I was gonna stop and not make the local news…Lol! Not sure if you could see the ramp area but my wing span is 57 feet 11 inches there was a sign and a plane that I was afraid I might hit trying to turn around on the ramp so this is why I stayed on the runway both times coming and going. I'll post the pick up landing later that day so you can see the lake landing to the east. Thanks agan for watching!

It is a private strip south of Alexander City AL. Reason for shutting down is because there wasn't enough room on the ramp to turn around without hitting the plane on tie down. I wasn't there 5 minutes dropped and flew out. I'll post the pick up later today landing East.
