As it is written, "Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up" (James 4:10). However, priests also hold a special role in our spiritual journey. They guide us, help interpret God's word, and support us in our faith, much like shepherds tending their flock. The Bible says, "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:23-25). Priests can offer wisdom, experience, and a deeper understanding of the Scriptures, helping us grow closer to God.
