Hi! My name is Karl, and "chasing pave" (road running) is what I do! Nothing beats the feeling of discovering amazing new places! Whether it be wild camping on the top of a jagged barefaced mountain, cooking beside an emerald green lake in the middle of nowhere, or simply feasting on a local delicacy in a "hidden gem" of a restaurant in a cool new city - there is so much to discover and experience along the road!
Throw in a motorcycle and you have the perfect combination! Getting to explore by motorcycle allows you to go beyond seeing new places, but really experience them by immersing yourself into the environment. Every dip in temperature is felt, and there are few activities as enjoyable as taking a cool dip in an epic stream, river or ocean after riding in the hot sun, or the feeling of the fresh air on a countryside road after a light rain.
I will be taking adventures, documenting them as well as testing out new gear/equipment to make the experience as epic as possible!

Good brief, nice delivery on brief - excellent job.
Thank you! 🙏 🙂
Awesome best I’ve seen as a set up to carry the bike and still be functional. Now I just need the van. 👍👍👍👍
Thank you! 🙏
I remember many years ago a guy had a van he used for camping and everyday stuff but the floor had a twist. The floor was plywood or some such, it slid out the back on tracks with a part up the front which was a "X" assemplt wich swiveled. He pulle the floor all the way out, the "X" stops at the end, he swivels it to choose the side he needed at the moment: Carpet, etc, on one side and plywood with E-Track on the other for holddowns for toy/cargo transport. It really was very cool. Maybe early 1970's.
Too bad KZread didn’t exist back then, I’m sure there were lots of great ideas that we’ve never seen before!
That's awesome bud .thanks for that .Ken from New Zealand
Where did you get your motorcycle ramp from and what brand is it? It looks like a good one like all of the gear you have there!
One of the first videos I did on this channel was on that ramp, you should check it out. I love that ramp. 👍
Is it okay if I save this video to get a design idea for my project ?.
Definitely! 👍
@@pavechaser thanks
Hi fella. I was thinking, wouldn't it be easier to buy a trailer and increase your living space?
There are many people that do build out trailers. Although I did consider it, ultimately doing a van build seemed like a better choice for me! Easier to park anywhere, easier to go off road, easier on fuel etc
This is probably the worst most awkward race van ive ever seen
🤔 not sure I understand- but thanks for the comment!
I didn’t know I needed this before seeing your video😂😂😂
It certainly opens up opportunities for adventures!
I love it. Well done Sir
Thank you!🙏 🙂
Really cool. Good job.
Thank you!🙏
worst bed set up ever. ive been in my van for 4 years. this set up is very impracticable .
It’s working great for me. Thanks for the comment!
Brilliant
Absolutely beautiful! Good job! ❤️
Thanks! 🙂
wow, great job on the build and solid video showing it off.
Thank you! 🙏 🙂
I had that idea in 2000 but I didn’t do it because I would be spending my children’s inheritance great idea
This looks like something from a fast and furious movie 😂
Brilliant mate
Some very cool features…
I do contract work and have to travel, I would love to have something like this. I would be able to take mt DR650 with me and be able to go riding. Wish that I knew somebody that knows how to build a van. Something like this would be perfect for me. This is one of the best builds that I have seen.
Thank you! 🙂
HAD A '12 DODGE HANDICAP VAN .. ROLL'D MINE RIGHT IN
I have to give it up for the bed, the whole build is amazing.
Thank you! 🙏 🙂
loved it .
Great build, love the ideas you put into it! I am sure that the future portapotti will also be backlit ; ) How do you secure the bike while driving? And can you still work in your office and kitchen when the bike is fully secured?
Thanks! Yes, a porta potty is some thing I’ve been considering. I secure the bike with the L-Track wheel chalk and tie down system in the floor. I am able to use the kitchen with the bike in the van. I only tend to use the office side when the bike is out of the van as I’m at my destination at that point. Depending on how I load the bike, I could use the office side with the bike inside, but the kitchen would not have much room.
@@pavechaser The L-Track is definitely worth investing in then, plus a mid stand for my bike since it only has a side stand. And a portable burner. Well thought out, enjoy!
Fantastic build! Amazing functionality and a stunning look as well. This is definitely a setup I would enjoy having anywhere on the road.
Thank you! 🙏 🙂
I like the look of it, but I would get annoyed with everything needing multiple steps to get to the task, even before doing the task.
Verg practical
DANG man super jealous
great cooking utensils 1) toaster/air fryer with rotisserie you can basically use this as an oven, air fryer, and rotisserie and fits MUCH more than the "coffee pot" style air fryers 2) crock pot/slow cooker/pressure cooker its great because you can set it and forget it on low while you ride your motorcycle all day 3) microwave because its great for reheating some leftovers 4) portable pellet bbq pit, or if you have room a full sized pellet smoker full with pellets, set on low and come back after a day of riding your motorcycle and enjoy 5)
That would definitely bring the cooking to next level!
@@pavechaser loved the video AWESOME build! I am 100000% jealous! I will be turning a 8.5'x21' enclosed utility trailer into a toy hauler/RV to tow and bring my motorcycle to camp grounds and maybe overlanding so I love looking at builds for ideas. Thanks. LOVE the led lights, the gray and black trim, LOVE the water tank electronic faucets. They are in my Amazon Toy Hauler shopping list.
This is my plan in 3yrs when I plan to retire. I want to get a 8.5'x21' enclosed utility trailer with rear ramp to convert it to a custom toy hauler. I want to tow it with my 2012 Yamaha Raider S across the US. I will ride my bike all day, come back to the camper, cook, eat, then enjoy some bourbon and a fire pit, then go inside and enjoy high speed internet with Star Link. And hopefully my friends will be able to relax sometimes on vacation as all my friends will still be working when I retire hopefully in 3yrs at 47yrs old after a 25yr career as a professional firefighter. Tiny house built on family land, no wife, no kids, no palimony, no alimony, no child support. When my dad was asked how he retired at 56yrs old he said "your bills make you work". So hopefully I can beat him to retirement by 9yrs.
Dude I loved this, just about to get my A license and thinking about something like this. The only thing that I dont like is the bed setup, because I'd be too lazy to set it up every day and another thing, you probably don't need it, but I'd add a monitor in the workspace. Otherwise awesome thing.
Thanks! Truth be told, once I set up the bed, I usually don’t tear it down unless I absolutely have to. So I’m able to drive to different locations with the bike in the back of the van and not have to tear the bed down. I only take the bed down if I really need extra space for entertaining.
@@pavechaser that makes life a bit easier. I have watched a ton of videos about motorcycle campers and by far the best setup is yours, well thought out and actually doable because it's simple and purposeful. Been thinking about how to improve the already existing setup ( that's my job, so sorry) and I realized you don't have a toilet and such and also was thinking about a 3d printed tub for a shower that is portable or a rotating base so that the bike can be rotated inside the van and you get more space which could give you the option to maybe have a drop down bed or something ( I know you mentioned you don't need it but still), dont know the dimensions but I do like to have stupid, overcomplicated ideas and then try to simplify them 😅. I showed your video to a few friends and they agreed that the setup is amazing. If you do make changes to the van it would be awesome to see an update video or something.
Yeah, I just stumbled upon this channel myself. Awesome absolutely awesome man great build camping and bikes. You got my attention.
Thank you! 🙏🙂
Just stumbled on to your "ultimate adventure stealth van build" and all I can say is WOW! That is by far the absolute best van build ever! You are extremely talented and I love that van. Great work, there is no words for how amazing that build is!!! The colors, the fit and finish, the fine tuning ideas, the bed!, the everything!!! Awesome...
Thanks so much! 😊
Sitting here in Dawson watching your episodes before we head up the Dempster and we are wondering when you did the Dempster (month)? Our group is using yours vids as a guide. Great stuff !
Thank you! It was late August when I went. I hope you have a great time and ride safe! ✌️
This is really well thought out and designed
OMG DUDE!! Absolutely fantastic! Build me one too. LOL. We'll done! Safe Travels ok
😁 thank you!
wow. You are really creative and it looks very nice. I want to buy a van like that and have you build this for me 🙂
Thank you! I’ll let you know if I ever go into production!😉😆
@@pavechaser 🙂
Lot of work to get the bed ready
Yes, It takes a few minutes, but you can leave it setup most of the time to avoid setup and tear down - even when driving.
Your van is fantastic! I built a similar layout in a 136 ProMaster = bed up front (mine was a 34" chair that unfolded into a bed). But, my van is no where near as professional looking or stylish as yours! 😍 And the 136 only had room for a Grom inside (LOL), but the intention was the same. Well done!
Thank you! 🙏 (btw groms are a lot of fun - I have one too!)
Great job I like.
Damn!! ❤
This is by far the best, most thought out van I have ever seen.
Thank you! 🙏 🙂
Awesome build
Thanks!
Very frigging impressed with your build. The fact that my lowrider st fits in there and mini kitchen and mini office are a plus...can't wait for divorce so me and my bike can live in a van like this peacefully wifey and nag free. Thanks...
Thanks! 😂
Awesome build.
Amazing bike camper allows the bike to stay indoors i like it
Not having to unload the bike and being able to sleep comfortably has been a huge benefit!
That's one way for a vanner to carry a bike I guess. A biker just rides the bike though.
I’ve done 20,000+ km in less than 24 days only on on a bike multiple trips - at a certain point in life, riding 1000+ kilometres just to get to your actual biking destination gets old 😅
Pretty cool and you still can use it for a daily car they drive good also 👌
Incredible build!
I LOVE this! Great craftsmanship! What do you do for a toilet?
Thanks! I haven’t built the toilet system for the van yet. Up until now I just use gas station restrooms. Most campsites have bathroom facilities as well. In the wild… Well, what happens in the wild stays in the wild.😝 (I am working on a few mod ideas and adding a toilet is one of them)
I don't comment often but this was too cool not to give you props. Well done sir.
Thank you! 🙏 🙂
