Love the windshield. Clever compact way to mount the solar panels. A more expensive but lighter option is the flexible solar panels. That is what I might use if I go that route.

Charlie you NEVER EVER sail or use the vessel in motion with the Pop Top in the UP position. It clearly states on the sticker/tag underneath the lid , if it is still there. It is only to be used when at anchor or docked to give you more headroom inside. Hope that help you.

And if you need any help with solar and batteries and wiring and appliances I am happy to help. That is what I do for a living. I dont suggest going 48volt OR trying to convert that to electric power. You'll find it is way more problems than its worth and will cost you a fortune to do correctly. If you dont want to use a gas outboard they make many affordable electric outboards now.

they are... but when doing prototyping... everything is experimental... trial and error... i only used the ole mountain bike because it was what i had... i will use a much better suited frame for the final product... a longer and more stable frame with lower mounting so don't have to step too high to get on it (:~:)

exactly... the longer frame with lower center of gravity will do just that... brakes have nothing to do with it... just torque of the lower gear ratios... and forgetting how to wride a wheelie... bikes do wheelies also... and go over backwards also... it comes with... wriding wheelies... push it... and find out... this is why i have to experiment... the brakes are just awesome... if i had hit the rear brakes... i would not have went over backwards (:~:)

it is still on the burner... i plan to build a lift so i can lift the boat off of the trailer and repair the hull properly... heh... just the lift is a pretty huge project... heh... but... i have lots of time... i will get there... hopefully it will be a mild winter... i want to do that table in the boat to... i can do that now... hmmmn (:~:)

i see 'the father' as the outer... infinity... and i see 'the son' as the inner... the center of infinity... and i see 'the spirit' as everything between the outer and the inner... this is 'the holy trinity' to me... god in three forms that all form one all-containing being... jesus is in the center... where he should be... i do believe that is one way of describing the truth of it... that there is only one way... one truth... one life... one eternal god... and one child of that eternal god... and how that makes creation... creation... i also believe that that one eternal god is the outer... everything 'out/up there'... apparently... it goes outward forever... eternal... no limit... and no other life... for as far we could hope to imagine to be able to go to... no other planet... no other life... no other... nothin'... and like our a.i. in all it's wonderful and amazing capabilities... it is still only 'ones and zeroes'... everythin' and nothin'... so is the trinity... god... the father/mother/parent... eternal god... is 'out there'... but ironically... there is nothin' there... the simple circle/sphere is a good enough representation... put a dot in the center of that circle/sphere and call that the 'only son/child of god'... the only way... the only truth... the only life... now then... where would that logically be in our reality as the only apparent and provable life in the only apparent and provable universe?... in the center... there can be only one center of anythin'... only one child of the eternal... is that one and only center... there are no other 'center's because there can be no other centers of the eternal... no other gods... no other devils either... unless that one god permits them to be so... but, most importantly and simply... nothin' happens that one god does not allow to happen... or make to happen... for it's own purpose... as the prophets and christs all say'd... "repent... and change your hearts... behold... the kingdom of heaven... is at hand'... what is it to be 'at hand'?... it means 'here and now'... we can touch it with our hands... this is a way of sayin' that this is all there is... and the sooner we all accept it and reject all the false god lies about other lifes in other universes in other dimensions in other dreams and nightmares... bla bla bla... the sooner we all accept the one god and the one child and where that one child is... the sooner we become the truth... the life... the way... and what we must become... if god the father/parent is 'out there'... and god the son/child is 'in there'... we are in between them... where the holy spirit is with us all... the holy spirit of the holy trinity is everythin' in between the outer and the center... where we dwell... now then... will you bow and accept the one child of god as god?... will you bow to 'j'esus in the center... down... below us all... on the throne of god... in humility... not the grand light and dark show that is the apparent eternal death 'above' us all... despite all its light and darkness... its hot and cold... there is no other life... no answer... to the cries of the only living child of god... because... we are alone... there is only one... and nothin' else... ultimately... we are looking in a mirror... and talking to ourselves... but in our case... we don't know that we aren't the ones looking in the mirror... we are the ones looking back... when you and i converse... we converse with another form of god... the eternal emptiness... and god... the one... the eternal fullness... the only life... the only truth... and the only way... to god the eternal... is through the one child of the one eternal god... in the center... but... what is beyond the center?... only through god the child... in the only center of the only creation of the only eternal god... the only child of the only eternal god... the 'christ'... that lived/devil... and died on the cross... the infinity cross... formed in an endless chain by those lights in the sky... in time... if you can imagine all this and connect with jesus/the christ/the only son/child of the only eternal god... you see how some see that god as a devil... because they don't like some part of creation of that god... but... like children... we are all learning... how 'life' works... how 'time' works... how 'reality' works... and how 'dreams/fantasies' work... and become reality as we know it... evolving... how creation works... hopefully... into a better reality... and not a worst one... while we lie to ourselves and worship false gods and false ideas of false earths in false universes in false dimensions in false dreams and false nightmares... we doom creation... to lies... and death... of the only known and provable life... in the only known and provable universe... in the only known and provable life... in the only known and provable dimension... in the only known time... in the only known gravity... in the only known... god... now then... will you consider what i am telling you?... will you bow to the one child of the one eternal god?... will you repent the pain and suffering you have caused to that one god by your rejection of him/it?... i no longer see either the parent or the child as male... or female... i think god the eternal one is greater than any 'half' of any 'duality' beyond the parent and the child duality... i think god the eternal parent is... unlimited... by anythin'... but only... by somethin' that it allows itself to be bound by... for its own will and reason... one and only one child of god... and the one and only child of god is bound by gravity and time... the keys to the bottomless pit... and what is gravity?... if it is not a bottomless pit?... this is our reality... and we must accept it... call it jesus or yeshua or whatever you want to... call it lucifer... or call it tuesday... whatever... but if you don't mean 'god'... you're simply not getting it yet (:~:)

How does the pop top connect to the mast? I have the same boat but am missing whatever connects right there

it has a pin and linkage with holes that line up with mount holes on a piece that slides in the spar under the boom... it is a terrible set up... very hard to set up and easy to mess it all up... i would say it is probably next to impossible to do on the water... i am going to redo it... either a totally redesigned pin set up... or i think i may just put it up permanently and box and fiberglass it in for a hard dodger (:~:)

@@CharlieFetty yea Iv lifted mine and its a real pain. I have the Spirit 23 so not sure if the hatch is larger but it is heavy and awkward. I was looking to add some hydraulic lifts (like hood props) to help lift it.

How does the pop top connect to the mast? I have the same boat but am missing whatever connects right there
it has a pin and linkage with holes that line up with mount holes on a piece that slides in the spar under the boom... it is a terrible set up... very hard to set up and easy to mess it all up... i would say it is probably next to impossible to do on the water... i am going to redo it... either a totally redesigned pin set up... or i think i may just put it up permanently and box and fiberglass it in for a hard dodger (:~:)
@@CharlieFetty yea Iv lifted mine and its a real pain. I have the Spirit 23 so not sure if the hatch is larger but it is heavy and awkward. I was looking to add some hydraulic lifts (like hood props) to help lift it.
It's much more cheerful out there compared to inside the dark house. I wonder if the chickens are listening. Lets see if they lay more eggs.
