  I was tired of Superman vs Batman fights when I was like 20. Now I'm 42 and just saw this again. You cannot write a good fight. You have to make Superman forget his powers, try to talk, hold back, etc etc. Otherwise it's like me vs a slug on the ground. There is no fight. Doesn't matter how cool the slug's fans think he is.

  This fight is actually better than the live-action fight in BvS. Ironically, the director of this movie - Jay Oliva - actually storyboarded the BvS fight for Zack Snyder. I don't think it's Oliva's fault that something felt lost in translation. I just don't think that Zack Snyder is that good of a storyteller. His action set pieces may look great, but they just don't resonate with as much emotion as they should.

  2:16 This is probably one of my favorite parts of this fight. Up until now, Batman has had the upper hand against Superman. But in a split second, Superman reminds everyone just how powerful he is. He may be in a severely weakened state, but he is still the strongest hero on the planet. "Bruce, this is idiotic!"

  For what it's worth, Superman went easy on him too. He tanked a nuke earlier in the movie, and it took an eternity for Bruce to deploy the Kryptonite. Then again, Bruce knew Supes would hold back, wouldn't he?

  It's odd that Superman only gets effected by Metallo after revealing he is Metallo....he was standing right next to Superman, and apparently a shirt and sunglasses were keeping the effects of kryptonite at bay?

  You definitely haven't watched the movies, clark and bruce were healing, they both were injured, superman took a nuke, almost got himself killed. neither Clark nor Bruce were in their prime, they didn't try to kill each other, superman tried to stop him, Batman only tried to fake his death. He was trying to operate beneath Gotham. Forming gotham's knights, leading the so called "Sons of The Batman" with Oliver queen.
