Hmmm.... If I can land in Emperor every week while actively playing the game, I could get around 800+ skystones and I don't have to spend it on getting arena points for the pass. I don't think camping is for me.
My GAither is lvl 5. Should I just wait for the Viv tweak and ignore him altogether? I guess my Grace is available tho. The other 3 I have mostly built.

Agree with you 100%! Before the revamped arena came into effect, I've been chilling in Champ 5 for years. After the revamped, I was knocked back to Challenger I. I had to fight my way back into Champ rank. Now despite winning many games and trying to push up, I'm still stuck in Champ 5! Based on the old system, my current score should've put me in Legend VI at least. Been playing since launch and this has to be by far the dumbest QOL that SG has implemented! So many of us have already lost interest in the game and instead of making the game more exciting, they're causing more frustration for us who're trying to hang in there 😞

I don't think point resetting weekly is the best strategy. I think it needs to happen once to fix these insane point totals though. It's just gonna make it a pain for low ranking players to hold rank because attacks are like 10x higher than they used to be. So starting at base points means casuals have to grind a ton just to hold champ every week. I get attacked like 8-12 times a day sitting at Champ V and I just do my ai battles to waste flags. I'm not even attacking other for them to revenge atk me. Luckily my def team has a 50% winrate. For people who don't have certain meta def units, they're gonna have a very hard time maintaining Champ V if points reset weekly. I think a better fix is just removing the "you can't lose points unless you log in" part for Emp and Legend. Camping in Champ won't really matter as much then because if your point total gets too high it'll toss you into emp where you can start losing points again.
Well, did you ever woken up on Monday just to find out you were beaten down a rank falling out of safe zone followed by weekly reset that kicked you another rank down because of not being in the safe zone? Unless you was really active PvP player with enough meta units built you lost your gem income and basically couldn't recover and just keep falling. At least I didn't recover for months until this rework. I understand your complaint and as long as your suggestion applies only to top tier PvP it's ok. Just don't mess it up for regular players that are not PvP freaks.
For the dark expedition expedition is 175 speed brieg with the +8 speed imprint from camilla? So withou SSS camilla you would go something like 180?

Lets be clear here guys you still need to be higher than X amount of people to reach certain ranks even though you hit the points requirement. Everyone seem surpised by that.
Since you've fought Belian I'd like to mention one thing what is not fair about her. She cancel your souls and she do that even when she is eliminated from the field and I find that unfair! If you eliminate Aurius or Escort holder or the unit that provoked you from the field, their effect is gone so why eliminating Belian isn't the same thing?

They should also change the top whole numbers to percentile for ladder rankings, this way it will spread the distribution evenly and allowing people to climb the ladder more efficiently. Top 100 in legend or 1000 in emperor is so stupid considering the decent amount of players in e7 which leads to huge players congested in champ.

There has to be some sort of reset at some point because eventually the gap in points from champ 5 to champ 4 will be so large that I could've went from champ 4 to emp/legend with those same points. Lets take Tristen's example: He was still Champ 2 (top 2000) with 6,900 points, I'm Champ 5 with 5,550 points rank 8060. I need to gain ~1,400 points to climb 3 leagues 6,000 ranks, meanwhile Legend 6/emp 1 (top 100) in Global is 7,248. That's only 350 points to climb 1,900 spots and 6 leagues (and with first time clear rewards). This really discourages me from playing arena at all after the battle pass is complete, just rather do npc arena for weekly 150 skystone reward

Before I even watch, is it the revenge feature?? Because it makes no fkin sense that someone gets to attack me twice for points, and I can only get points from the 1st revenge win. That's easily been the most frustrating part while trying to climb. edit: ok yeah, that camping part sucks also. Hopefully they fix it, but I do blame those guys just camping. It is their fault. They know damn well they're exploiting a feature that is not meant to be that way. They should be punished for it.
Huh so that's why I got 7000 points but was still stuck in champ 2. The point inflation is getting worse by the week too.

Idk why some people make it their duty to make the custom banner sound like a terrible option. I wish they made it more clear that this is literally the best use of your BMs if you were pulling for older heroes and Theo my way to guarantee artifacts with BMs. If you would EVER pull on a regular banner or story summon you should think to yourself first, shouldn’t I just wait for the next custom to summon that? Less relevant for older players since you likely already have the essentials and would rather have a higher chance to pull the one char/arti you need instead of splitting chances with two other heroes.
Yeah, this is a huge issue. I was rank 95 week before last, and collected on Monday as usual. I tried to get to Legend again this week but the rating was just too high. I was rank 16 Emperor with over 7k points right before reset. In my opinion, the lack of rank resets is good for every rank BEFORE Legend. All Legend players should get reset to Emp 1 each week at whatever points the Rank 1 Emperor had the week prior so that people can actually try to grind it and it becomes competitive. Even the Rank 1 legend shouldn't be an exception imo because then they would start with a ~500+ point advantage over the competition, which is the equivalent of ~40 flags or so. The camping issue is clearly a bug that needs to be fixed more than anything though.
I want the rank req for climbing to be removed. If someone passes the scores req then why don't let they climb on. Maybe I'm stupid to understand why

i will keep the not resetting points weekly coz i believe it allows players like me, who only use free flags but has high offense winrate, to compete. with that said, winrate and consecutive victories should not reset as well and they should have a significant impact on the rankings. if you are on a 500 consecutive victories and your offense is 500-0 then you should be sitting pretty high up there, unshakable. lastly, no camping allowed. make players lose points from defeats even if they dont login.

Grats on your 14% ATK. That's really lucky. I went for Briseria's EE, and I got 10 speed on it. Pretty happy about that. I use her as an opener, so that 10 speed and 10% more chance to def break will definitely help. I'll go for the Arby one with the rewards on monday. I haven't done HoT yet, but I'm waiting on your teams for this weekend to see if ML Vivian is better. I wanna do HoT as little as possible, so that's why I delayed it for so long. I just wanna know what the best teams are after the balance patch.
