Ser Jaime Lannister, Kingsguard to Aerys II Targaryen, Kingsguard to Robert Baratheon, Lord Commander of the Kingsguard to Joffery Baratheon, Lord Commander of the Kingsguard to Tommen Baratheon. Father of two kings of Westeros, Lover of the first ruling Queen, Brother of the first ruling Queen (what a weird coincidence). The Kingslayer, The Kinslayer, The Oathbreaker, The Kingmaker, The Oathkeeper, and the Sister Fucker.

I’m so glad the last few seasons are still upsetting people. I’m sure GRRM will write a better ending. Lol! Oh wait, he is never releasing any new books because he knows no ending will make you kids happy.

“The things I do for love.” Threw a child out of a window for his romantic love. Duelled Ned Stark for his admiration of Arthur Dayne. Rescued Brienne from r*pe and let her fulfill her oath for his love of honour. Rescued Myrcella for the love of his child. Rode North alone and fought the white walkers for his love of the people. Returned to Kings Landing for the love of his sister. Died defending his queen, for the love of the throne. The things we do for love… they shape us into the people we are. That one line is the personification of who Ser Jaime Lannister is.

Honestly if Jaime had actually gotten a proper end or sacrificed his life in a noble way instead of just going "I'm going to run back into the arms of my toxic sister/ex lover because 'love,'" this would have been a near perfect way for his story to close out. A complicated figure whose story will finally be told

What I don't get about the ending Dave and Dan wrote is why does Jon go back to the Night's Watch? When Robert killed Aerys he became King, when Dany killed Cercie she became Queen, so why doesn't Jon become King when he kills Dany?? Makes absolutely no sense!

They don't care at this point. In the book, Jaime has decided to overthrow Cersei, kill her if he has to, so that he can save the realm from her lunacy, and protect their remaining children from Cersei's wanton brutality and treasonous nature In the show, he just simps for her .

this was one of the most intimate, most raw, most special, most emotional moments i’ve ever been apart of with a character on television. she has loyalty. strength. kindness. work ethic. character. and this scene (as well as the one where he leaves her crying for him not to go), makes me incredibly awestruck at how this brilliant woman, so elegantly and so emotionally carried her character and the meaning behind her. she is so beautiful to me, and even better (for me), she has the rarest and truest form of ethical and spiritual character, innocence, and grace in her heart. this scene was so fucking beautiful.🙌🏼🫶🏻🥰🤗🤗🤗
