  Her looks and personality are one big yawn fest, yet she somehow managed to snag the biggest movie star of all time. I honestly don't know what Tom saw in her, considering she's NOT the cream of the crop and he could certainly have that. She has all of these physical flaws that I'd be self-conscious of if they were mine (pigeon-toed, cankles, really bad cold sores, bunny teeth, hammer toes, tree trunk thighs, and an outie belly button that could take your eye out), yet she seemed completely comfortable in her skin. Plus, when you listen to her, it's like she doesn't have an original thought in her head. She got lucky, that's all there is to it.

  Penelope Cruz was more private and sophisticated than Katie Holmes was at this time. I don’t mean that to be disrespectful to KH, she just had a more puppyish energy about her and that emphasised the age difference. When things calmed down a bit she matured very quickly.
