  Just to insure that curls will develop. Would Rolling the rods on and sleeping with them for a night help? afterwards in the morning you wet the hair & then add all the solutions .?

  Please could you explain to me what the technique is. I would like a perm and need to tell my hairdresser who has no clue what a windmill style perm is. It seems to have the best results

  It is an alternate way to roll a piggy back perm starting with rolling the ends first to keep the ends more evenly wrapped around the rod. Then that roller is twirled around the next roller as the hair is rolled mid shaft to root. This makes it look like a windmill
