To all the folks who’ve wondered what the Flecktones would sound like with a “real” drummer.. Well, here you go! It’s hard to say I don’t prefer it, but then it’s Carter Beauford and he absolutely slays! So..

This gotta be about the best version of this piece out there, both musically and in chemistry on stage. It just works beautifully. Must have felt amazing playing back then when the energy just flows

Everette Harp’s solo is still one of my favorite saxophone solos of all time after discovering this video about 15 years ago ! 🎷🔥
Anybody noticing Poogie Bell?! At the end...My God, so many fills up his sleeve...Hits the drums aggressively, like a Rock player...but has the groove and chops of a soul/funk drummer...UNDERRATED!!

Absolute goodbumps!!! Some kind of funk ecstasy seance natural dmt trip.... Ah god i love being a musician. Loved seeing Milton Nascimento .... the sax is so expressive, the funk is so real on this one. Spiritual level. Love that bass groove, love the change up in it... where its sort of double time for that half bar ... right after the horns say their mane phrase, the bass answeres, that part ... beautiful groove... was making me twist and dance on fire with goosebumps and passion sweats ... ahhh, its great being
