Retired US Soldier who loves WWII history. Too many Americans do not recognize that war had been raging in Europe since Sep 1, 1939 when Germany invaded Poland. HOWEVER! War between China and Japan had been underway since 1937. The US, UK, and several other countries had a military presence in Hong Kong to protect its financial interests and were involved in Japanese bombings, if you asked them they would tell you WWII began in 1937. Q2 - There have been hundreds of D-Days, D day is the unknown day on which military operations will begin. The "codename" for what Americans call D-Day was Operation Overlord.
Easy
I am 78 yo and I got 90 of the questions correct. Yeah.

Whether I know these things or not, I still grew up in the 50's and 60's.....hello.....
At 75 I scored 75/100. Wasn't a sports nut back in the day. I remember Jack Parr before Johnny. Definitely scored well on music and amusements. At 16 went to World's Fair. Disney debuted "It's a Small World" there. Thanks for the memory.
Jack Paar was the host of The Tonight Show before Carson. Where did you come up with Groucho Marx? There was Steve Allen, Jack Paar, Johnny Carson, Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon in that order. Valley of the Dolls was not even in the top 20 best novels of the 60s, but To Kill a Mockingbird was one of the very best. My parents bought a home in 1955 for $8000, it sold in the late 90s for over $300,000. It overlooks Lake Superior. I missed maybe 10, but not all the correct answers you gave were correct. Marilyn Monroe never actually posed nude for Playboy though her picture was on the cover of the first issue.
I was born in 1950 so I didn’t know many of the answers to 1950s trivia and I’m not a sports fan so…..

Q 44 I thought Ralph Lauren's first item of clothing would have been a nappy (diaper), but I guess his parents were willing to risk baby Ralph's strangulation by giving him a necktie.
Well, 14 mistakes, way less than the maker of the quiz made even. Switserland has 4 languages, the Big Ben is the bell, BaCH is pronounced with a CH not a K! Just like as in schumaCHer, etc etc... how hard can it be, open wikipedia and look up how the word is pronounced.. Pink Floyd made Dark side of the Moon. VERY VERY IRRITATING.
I am 78 years old and scored 45/50 This is a history test..
