Thanks for the video as i'd really wanted to go to the Blythe ( I work just up the road and know Jason who organised it ---- asked him about the show he said it went really well) but other commiments prevented me going.

My 2 year old son is mesmerised here watching this video! I'm enjoying it too. I have a Lister D that I restored and I bought a Briggs and Stratton 2hp engine for my son that he can play with when he's older.

Thanks for the comment :) it's awesome to hear that the younger generation is getting involved. Just a word of warning...its a very addictive hobby. You will soon be wanting more engines for the collection 😄

Hello I know I am a little late to be asking a question but old engines and stuff have always interested me. I am no expert but thought that by now im in my 40s I wouldn't be surprised then in this video @8:22 I see this 1919 Le Desjardin Built in Canada. So now I am thinking I might be a bad Canadian and feel like I should look into this little engine. First I wanted to ask if the information is correct there is a lot in this video and I admire the amount of effort it takes to put something like this together. I get a feeling this is from the UK but there is not anything I noticed that gives it away in this video and I am commenting before I investigate beyond this video so I would like to know what country this was from? Any other information on this engine would be interesting to know like one of the big ones would be dose it still smell like maple? lol mike
