It's not the blizzard who makes lousy games. It is us, the first generation kids to play the computer games who got fed up. Now that we all grew up and we no longer think that playing game with a computer is a cool thing, having SC3 D4 with much better graphic is not the concern. I don't think kids nowadays likes to play computer games either.

Will never happen. The RTS genre is well past its heyday. Even if it wasn’t, Blizzard would take 12 years to go from development to release.

The Silmarillion is really very difficult to be adopted for the big screen. Maybe a TV series, GoT style, with 5 - 6 seasons, with 10 - 12 hourly episodes per season, so 55 - 65 hours of screentime, but this is still difficult, because the Silmarillion isn't one story, it'll be very difficult for the Writers to manage and connect everything to keep the interest high. And don't forget that the Silmarillion is quite dark, don't expect LoR and Hobbit happy endings etc.

the whole thing needs a redesign. They trayed away from the dark aesthetic of the original to the goofy WoW Disney Bubbling look. Gotta bring back the rough edges and the metallic straight lines.
