Thanks for all the great testing to find these settings. I'm new to all of this and have a Triple Score. I'm wondering about ground balance. The manual indicates the detector is made to not need ground balance. Do you agree or should we be doing ground balance with you settings? Thank you so much.
There is an option to manual ground balance, but ground balance is not an necessity when using a multi frequency detector. The only thing you should do after you turn the metal detector on, is long press the bottom left side button, that is a frequency shift. It works automatically as you long press the button to initiate. After it initiates, you can let go of the button and it will complete the process. When it's completed, you're good to go.

Mushrooms are called puffballs. The are edible if white in the middle. I particularly don’t like the texture of them but are good imo for making soup broths.
You are exactly right - if I said mushroom, I should have given my head a shake...puffball! Based on the size of these, I bet they were like bombs lol. Cheers buddy.

At this site - helped. Trash was extremely low (little to no threshold nulling) so opening up a bit more was perfectly fine and recommended! You wont score any more coins, but it would introduce some relics into the mix while using the coin program.

The Legend would be my first choice - the TS my second choice. They compliment eachother very well.

I got one of the first legends that came out . Yesterday, I bought a backup next generation , so I took it out today. For the price and performance can't be beat.

I leave it to the land owner to decide, but let me put it this way also, the detectorist always deserves to walk away with something for their efforts.....

Yes sir - it is a lot of testing, the mosts tests I have ever done with a detector. Its very close to the Legend, so I needed to see if it really can be pushed past the performance of the Legend - focusing on coins in iron. It was close, but the Legend slightly surpassed. I've found a lot of silver dimes with the Legend at the lowest recovery speed, too.
Promising spot you hit there, could have gone either way. Funny how the American coins took precedence on that site but I see that a lot on older gathering places here in Ontario. I finally got the chance to try your iron infested relic and coin program on the Legend and I was very impressed with it. The only thing I changed was I lowered the tone break to 30, so that I could pick up on the musket balls. Other than that I ran it just like you showed in your video and my first target was a Tiffin token, followed by a musket ball. Thank you for those settings and for this video. HH and ATB

Just got my dubble score today cant wait to test it properly. Do you think the dubble score can hit the same whit recovery at 1?
Not to discredit the Double Score, but I conducted the same test between the 2, and it did not work quite as well unfortunately. The Double Score is a fantastic machine though. Enjoy, and looking forward to seeing what you find amongst iron and trash!

what if the location is infested with aluminum foil and can pieces?
The bottlecap reject is set as well in collaberation with this, so no issues there. It is set to break up / eliminate consistent tones from aluminum. Thanks for asking.
@@Diggin4LifeMetalDetecting thanks for the information I'll use this soon at a place where it's horribly infested with aluminum sla cans foil it's ridiculous my double score did show lots of targets but no Dept al little blibbs of too tiny target's early this week my triple score came in did the pre order here in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and seeing your video got me thinking together with the SC24 coil and the bottle cap rejection at 6/7 how that would work on that place because after this weekend it's hunting time there park city live will be over let's see what people lost keep up with the tricks tips and stuff and thanks a lot 👍🏻😁🙏🏻keep digging those signals
Yes do that. Use the 360 method - when you get a signal walk around it swinging. If the tone breaks or jumps all over, its aluminum. Seek nice clean signals as you walk around 360 (even deep good targets will repeat at depth) - use that BC setting. You should be successful there. Let me know how you make out. Cheers & TY

Just ordered triple score and have the ledgend. Having problems finding the right setting on the Ledgend for beast mode in park or field.
Beast Mode on the Legend is basically an All Metal Mode. My iron infested site settings will get you old buried coins at depths up to 18" deep. If you want to use the Beast Mode, refer to the updated manual online under the Nokta Website. Otherwise, refer to one of my videos that states the iron infested site settings. You are going to like the Triple Score!!!! Its a great machine, its like a baby Legend. Congrats Good luck out there

Thanks for the pro iron infested settings for the Triple Score. I noticed some changes for that program vs those for the Legend, eg, GS, threshold, BC etc. Are these differences just for the Triple Score, the conditions where you tested or have you also made these changes in the Pro Iron Legend protocol? Thanks. Also, you have likely already addressed the following in another video, but could you please explain why you would change IF, ST and how they interact? I have always assumed the lower the IF, potentially a higher ST is needed. I have always used an IF of 3-4 and usually a ST of 5. How should the two be adjusted together and why? Thank you.
The Triple Score has it's own settings based on the options that it provides. The Legend offers more options. These Triple Score settings are the results of over 300 tests in mild to moderate soil conditions SPECIFIC to the Triple Score. As the Triple Score has options taken from the Legend platform (not all), the core roots of the Iron Infested Site Settings that have been created for the Nokta Legend, can for the most part, be utilized on this NEW Nokta Triple Score (which makes it a perfect back-up for the more extensive setting options Legend) The Triple Score is a beautiful machine, and it excels very well for small silver coins at some incredible depth. The Nokta Legend has its own Iron Infested Site Settings. The Nokta Triple Score has its own Iron Infested Site Settings. Extensive testing with each machine, creates slight differences in some of the settings with each machine. Hope this helps - Jason Corbett

I bet I've sold like 4 of these already just chatting to people on the beach..hope they work on the highly mineralized wet salt water soil of the bay of fundy as well as the Legend, I always recommend the legend and then tell them about the double and triple score.

No - the coil would need to belong to the SX Series of coils. The freq is different. Hope this helps and good luck out there!

I make large plugs. At least 12" from side to side. If I make smaller they dry out very fast turn brown and commercial grade lawn mower can suck up the smaller plugs and leaves a hole in the grass. Not good. So nice big plugs. Looks scary when you flip it over. But it's the best way to cut a plug in summer time grass.
Great tip! I've experienced the browning. I've also noticed that somehow the squirrels in my area are able to sense that the ground has recently been dug up and as such, they dig up my small plugs... presumably looking for recently buried food. Just another reason to dig big plugs.

I enjoy running the pro coin settings and after the new update I added on the DT at 2 and landed a couple silver Canadian coins. They rang up clean, about 7-8 inches deep. Great video again Jason 👍 awesome coin Chris!

So I put in your settings but in multi 2 field but everything else the same and my first hole was a 2 piece Connecticut sealcoat button from the civil war about 10 inches deep.. heck yeah

After a LOT of testing the setting in collaboration with my other settings, I settled on a DT setting of 3 - which seems to be the sweet spot - still getting super deep conductors and it cleans up the tone of conductive targets mixed in with iron (EVEN AT DEPTH)

There are no values for threshold because that is based on one's personal hearing preferences. The setting that you should use, is a setting where the threshold (hum in the background while detecting) is barely audible. Thanks for the question.
