I just notched out a scrap of 2x4, screwed it to another 2x4 as a backer and screwed the whole thing to the base of the wall in my garage. It's been working fine for 10 years. You don't need a hinge to pivot, just a way to keep the bar from sliding

I mean you can create a landmine by cutting open a tennisball and using a corner in you gym as the anchor. Will protect the bar better, only requires a blade, and only costs $1.

I use the magport ones and the magnets (8) are setup positive - negative - positive - negative etc. Very easy to connect and disconnect. The way you do it is like having a male female connection.

Clever
Simple and to the point. Thanks for posting!! 👊
Do you have the STL for this? This is really neat!
Is this the full size from the 3d design?
Yes, it is at 100% scale.
Dude, I just found your listing on ebay for these bad boys... thinking about placing an order soon
What temperature do you heat it up to?
Doesn't really matter, as long as it's melted. I just set this to high
How long is your bar?
Thanks again. This video helped. Assembling the rifle tomorrow. Do you do custom print requests?
Hit me up on Instagram or [email protected].
