Im so glad im not the only one who gets hair dye everywhere when i dye my hair 🤣 i have been dyeing my hair blue/black for a year and finally taking the plunge to go jet black in a few weeks im so excited....i loved the unhinged drying of your hair i have naturally curly hair too and the frizz/fluff is no joke and so hard to stop 🤣 i think you look beautiful its so nice to find a UK based gothic youtuber and look forward to seeing more videos 🖤

Sadly, I do not feel that Whitby just isn't a Goth Festival anymore. In the days before Halloween and Autumn became 'popular' (about 2011) it used to be out of season and cheap and not very busy (about 1500-2000) would descend upon the town for 2-7 days. We only really did Octobers in 2008, 2009, 2014 and 2015 and our first one in 2008 was great. Even then I was told by a friend who had been going since the mid 1990's, that it wasn't as good. So I suppose anyone who goes today will love it but, I guess its my turn to say it isn't as good. It was 5 nights of clubs, seeing live bands and several alternative markets all within a lovely old town. Today, accommodation is expensive/over priced and it gets far too busy, especially on Saturday and Sundays, which is why many Goths I knew would avoid old town after Friday. I think a lot of the problems were down to the Steam Punks who stated showing up in the late 2000's and would parade about town in their costumes and would be photographed. These circulated and created the wrong perception about the Goth Weekend, which is why its avalanched out of control as the go to place at Halloween for northerners.

I am absolutely so grateful you posted all those codes!! Thank you! I decided to delete my island after 2 yrs and start over and make my "witchcore" Island and this video was so helpful! I'm still in the process of getting it where I'd like it to be (since I started a new island recently) but I can't wait to finish! These codes came in just in time because I was waiting to get the Able Sisters shop!

I was just about to comment asking about bands, when you said about it not being Pete's taste. 😂 My husband isnt really into goth music either (hes much morebinto his metal) although hes very sweet and comes along with me. Its a shame you didn't get to see the bands, because they were really fantastic. Sadly we're not going to Whitby this year. The accommodation prices are astronomical, and because Tomorrow's Ghosts is on at the same time as Whitby, if you stay further out, you cant get parked for love nor money because of the all the tourists! I've never seen it as busy as the time this vlog was from!! Hope you have a great time if you do go again!

This is such a huge shame, because this palette looks so good at first. I'm obsessed with greys and silvers, and this one was high on my list to buy, but its not the quality I was expecting Edit: Too Faced Better than S*x is a great masacara thats vegan I think, and although I've not tried their mascaras, Urban Decay products are a favourite of mine. Elf Big Mood mascara is vegan, but the wand is too big for my taste.

It’s a nightmare to apply, and far more complicated to mix and more expensive. Because you don’t have the squeezy bottle, unless you have a tint brush you’re gonna smother your face and all your hair EVERY TIME you need to do your roots, like what happened to you. Terrible product. Your hair feels dry because you applied it to all your hair, when dying previously coloured hair you should just do the roots and then if you want to refresh the ends you need to just apply for the final 10 mins. Definitely get a tint brush next time you’re shopping. Bodycare, Asd, B&M etc sell them for next to nothing. Good video, shows this product is terrible. Your hair is a nice shade though. Just looks messy and difficult to apply and maintain with this product. Your video is one of the first I found before trying this so thank you!!!
