  I just subbed. Been keeping fish off and on for 15+ years now. This weekend I'm going to set up some mini ponds for Medaka. I've never kept them before, so I'm looking forward to it.

  温度で伸びやすさは変わるのは事実ですが、そもそもどれだけヒレが伸びるかの遺伝子を持った子かどうかもとても大事だと思います！我が家でもヒレが伸びづらい子もいるので、いかにそんな子を選んでいくかも醍醐味かもですね😊 あとは、体を作る上での食事も大事だと個人的にな思っています！難しいこともありますが、楽しみながら頑張ってみてください！

The most understandable one still lacks comprehensive information on the types of Medaka. jma-medaka.jp/headquarters_event.html I will continue to introduce different types through videos, so I would be happy if you could watch them.

I do not know why, I was always better in reading and bad in listening. 😅 Have your japanese KZread Channel english subtitles? I can not decide which colour is the best for me to start with Medaka. Once I have seen Medakas with very light blue eyes, with glitter in the body (side) and a brilliant orange all over the fish. At this moment I do not have a second aquarium, so I do not buy them.... I have not seen them ever again. The desciption sayed: Medaka (laptides).

  Thank you for your comment. I am currently adding English subtitles to my Japanese videos. Not all videos have subtitles yet, but I plan to add them moving forward. In Japan, the type with an orange body and shimmering scales is called 'Koutei Lame'. Blue-eyed Medaka are also popular in Japan, and most blue-eyed Medaka have a black body color, which makes the blue eyes stand out more due to the contrast. Medaka with an orange body and blue eyes are less common and are known as 'Syutengenryuu（朱点幻龍）'. The Japanese Medaka, Oryzias latipes, can easily crossbreed with different variations, so it might be interesting to try crossing different colors. Let's enjoy Medaka breeding together!

  Males can be identified by their elongated anal fin. Normal medaka has a notch on its dorsal fin, but this wide fin type does not have it. If it's small, even professionals can easily mistake it...😂

  ディスカスのペアは仲良しですが 7匹10センチがいるのですが 全て喧嘩特に餌食べる時に多いのです ペアはできる可能性はあるでしょうか? 遺伝関係で大きくならないディスカスも いると思うのですが私にはわかりません? お詳しいと思いますのでご返信いただけると 嬉しいです宜しくお願い致します。

  Thanks for your comment! This is the third generation of children from the breeding of Sapphire and Yozakura. However, it is difficult to fix the genes and many different expressions appear. I will continue to enjoy crossing breeds so that many more of these beautiful fish will be born.

  素晴らしい　飼育してるけれど １０センチが8匹　現在は25リットル水槽に入れて います　１００リットル水槽も持っていますので 早く移動したいと思います　水換え毎日 しないとよくないですか？ 年をとっても大事にされる心に感動しました。

  リングろ材の使用期限はどんなもんでしょうか？外掛けフィルターで使ってますが、流し続けて半年ぐらいはバクテリアさんがいい感じで働いてくれそうでしょうか？ろ材の目詰まりなどでバクテリアさんの労働環境がなくなってしまうのはいつ頃でしょうか？バクテリアが働く気満々でも労働環境が悪いとバクテリアも退職してしまいますよね。

  色々な環境が関わり合いながら水質が出来上がっているので一概に言えませんが、ろ材は物理的に崩れない限りは私はずっと使っています。半分ずつ洗ったり、入れ替える方法も水質の急変を抑えられていいかもですね。
