At Ben Thanh Market, the "fixed price" areas are owned and operared by the government. Hence why they have the signs up so people know not to bargain. Move further into the market, and everything is up for haggling.
thank you for clarifying, i was scared when i accidentally said 'scam price'. i feel 300,000vnd for a vietnamese dress a little overpriced but i feel 150-200k is reasonable.
i am curious, do locals come to this market for 'shopping'? i feel mostly are tourist. Do you have any markets in saigon that locals go to that you can recommend? :D
Is it a physical sim card or E-sim? How to manage if your phone doesn't support e-sim?
it is physical sim :) once you purchase, the cashier would install for you if they got the time, otherwise insert the sim yourself at the store. if its not working you can ask the store for help. :) happy travel :)
Can i purchase e-sim instead of physical sim at the airport? I don't want to change the sim, I'm afraid i will lost my simcard.
i saw some stores with Esim at the airport. they are either same price with lesser data than physical sim or just a little more expensive then phyiscal sim. happy travel in vietnam :)!
I will go vietnam day after tomorrow. I will buy some clothes for family. Plz suggest some cheap market
Hi there, you can check out Ben Thanh Market. Remember to bargain Hard! If the price is not right, slowly walk away and the shop might ask you to come back to bargain for good price. Here is my video. kzread.info/dash/bejne/nKCYudyEcqiddco.html
_+_ Thanks for sharing 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
thank you and enjoy your trip :D
Hello, I want to go to Sapa via Laos. Can you give me information about the bus schedule from Vientien to Hanoi
you can use 12go.asia website :D
@@bernardwangg ok thnks
No AC??? I will probably not eat there. Insane. Ruin the foods and experience.
I must say in vietnam most of these local street stores only have fans, if you prefer AC you need to find restaurants, cafes and shopping malls :)

Im not defending sales people but i did sales for a long period of time i did my best to let people know when to cancel if they didn't want the service or ended up not using it enough ik how hard i work for my money so i understand tgat people dont always wanna get subscriptions so I'd show them they could get a free version on our website see how they like it then ill try the sales pitch next time I've never dealt with the l This is the last day i have accidentally said that and the extended the sales so i felt bad as if i lied but other then that ive never come across that last day sale thing
I respect sales roles, it aint easy but it is overwhelming when a few people over few days approached me and selling the same 'last day promo'.
@@bernardwangg naw I completely understand kinda sad that's there only pitch😕
@@whiteboy.0283 at least now i am aware :)
Heard it too, sales people have more tricks and talking points up their sleeves
It is an essential skill i feel.

How much did that cost?
2000THB :D
Withdraw cash with no fee? Do you know a place?
Unfortunately for Thailand all ATM I tried charges around 220THB per withdrawal. Best way to withdraw cash is to sign up a Wise and Youtrip Travel Card to spend and withdraw cash from ATM. Each card gives me around $300 free ATM withdrawal per month. Sign up through my link for free sign up bonus at no extra costs to you: youtrip.onelink.me/3xWB/x82uq9wv wise.com/invite/i/bernardw241
It is more similar than you think. Like police, university, and so many more

I never tried cơm tấm in the north but have you tried "cơm tấm sà bì chưởng"? Its owned by a famous streamer so it should be good 👍 I'm from the south 🙌, cơm tấm avg price range from 20k -> 50k+ From my experience, if meal is 30k to 40k it must taste good and 50k+ tastes like heaven lol. Just remember to find a food store near a university :'P .
Nope, I have not tried cơm tấm sà bì chưởng, but WOW it has 1.6k reviews! So happy you are sharing this to me!! Honestly I learnt so many new places through social media comments like this. Not many people take video contents like this and share on social media. Sadly, I paid 30-60k before, it is not always good lol, I just got to learn from experience.
This sim is for 30 days still able to extend more than 30 days? Can we top up with credit card when back in our country?
you can top up for another 30 days through the application using a credit card. this sim card can only be used in thailand :D

Sounds local, let me try asking! 🙊

Thank you 555

do you think the 7 eleven in the airport would have this?
Hi there, I am not sure because I did not go to 7-11 in the airport.
Yeah, that shit is the bomb when you need to work on uni assignments, best coffee ever
I am having vietnam coffee now and replying to all of your comments, I am so energised now HAHA~!
IIRC Vietnam Coffee is more strong because of their governal regulations. I studied this shit for one throwaway project for a grade in uni
I am curious, why did the regulations make the coffee stronger? To increase productivity?? If that is so I think it worked very well :D
@@bernardwangg because a lot of lower strength stuff was poor quality, so they attempted to combat it this way, halfsucceeded, and never turned regulations back
Yo of anyone wondering movie name is หลานม่า (Lahn Mah) i think it is only in Thailand for now and u need to wait if u wanna see it in ur own contry
Yes that is the title, I have researched for Malaysia and Singapore they will be screening in the coming month :D Enjoy!!
I just hope that local sensorships wont cut any scenes out, I have watched the movie, I dont think there is any sensitive contents.
Have you tried the spring rolls?
I shall go try soon. Thanks for recommending. I find it hard to find food because google translate is not accurate and many stores have no photos. 😢
Bún bò whit huyết ? 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
I did not eat the blood cubes. I am not used to it 😊
Are these dispensers available in Bangkok too?
I did a quick search, yes they do: www.reddit.com/r/Anticonsumption/comments/benwpg/in_bangkok_thailand_you_can_refill_water_for_1/

😢😢😢 shocking
smoking would kill me
most of the local guys onboard smokes but the smell doesn't linger in the bus at all. It is a no smoking bus:)
