A fascinating match between two of WTA's more underrated performers. By golly, that Donna has a big serve and is a HUGE ball-striker! She is very impressive when she is hitting on all cylinders. But she struggles against more athletic players, since her legs lack in quickness. But she is a banger, for sure! Ekat is a more all-around player, and generally consistent, but sometimes her error content is just too high to be overcome. She is a staunch defender, and can make comebacks in some matches, but not today.

I think it helps her hit the inside out shot more easily. She can always pivot it quickly to hit straight or cross court (if it’s what I think you’re referring to). I’ve seen players at the collegiate level do that.
