I love riding Motorcycles and I am into making videos so why not combine the two, I try to make the content enjoyable and I do not take myself too seriously, plus when I finally kick the bucket my kids can look back at my videos and see what an Idiot their dad was.
I test ride motorcycles, long term reviews, motorcycle equipment reviews and I check out Biker Friendly Cafes/Places.

they’re to carry your kids and family on. it’s pretty obvious really 😂
There’s a point to this bike, which goes past ride and build quality. It’s prestige and kudos! It’s what makes riding and ownership equally pleasurable. And not seeing too many on the road makes it all the more special! 👍🏻
thieves give back the money
Love my Meteor 350, I could pay more for more horses and go the same speed but that would be stupid
Live in NYC. Own a 1k CC BMW (among others). But… My RE Classic 350 is more fun through city streets and back country roads here in NY. Fast enough to slice through all the city congestion (in style), yet slow enough to smell and take in the scenery. Love that bike and will never sell it. P.S. Wouldn’t want to hit the US interstate with this bike, however. (That’s what the fast bikes are for.) Cheers. ✌️😎
Shouldnt have any starting issues. Absolutely no throttle blip required as the ECU manages it. Possibly a leaking air throttle bleed valve.
Cool bikes. Am wondering if one can replace the stock seat and pillion with the stock small saddle with springs, like on earlier Classic 350's-John in Rexas
My Meteor cost me 75 bucks per year with Progressive insurance
Filter like a mofo!
Stop pratting about jim you’re title is this the worst bike idiot
Hope your on the mend now mate, need to have another meet this year
Yeah, that would be good, mate.
The bait worked and landed on my home page, hopefully you're back to it soon
Get yourself the Shell or BP app and you can pay at the fuel pump, no need to get off the bike, take your helmet off or even go in store. It’s all I ever use.
I have the app probably best I start using it mate.
Don't get an App., get a life instead😅
Anyone doing the monthly shop in a petrol station is a genuine psychopath. I think the bhp limit was a gentlemans agreement for safety.
Yeah Jim that retro looking 900 is a sweet bike. Bit of an animal. Harks back to the bikes of old when a motorcycle was a motorcycle.
Hope all is okay after the op Jim. I know what you mean about these high powered bikes. A classic example of this now is the final version of the Yamaha R1 an iconic bike and yet the last version that they are making (and I could be mistaken) I understand will only be for track use. Bonkers. Cannot believe they will not be making this bike anymore.
@TheDavedadd Thanks, bit sore go to wait two weeks before I ride again. Currently, bikes are getting a bit sterile, and dare I say boring. However yamaha did release that retro looking 900 I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of them.
Hopefully all is ok now Jim. 👍👌
Thanks. Op went well bit sore, though.😂
Hope everything went well bud, take care and see you soon 👍
Thanks, op went well. I just got to take it easy for 2 weeks
I have not forgotten to secure my helmet, but the end snap taps my throat to remind me of it.
Chin strap! We've all done it 🤣
Hahahaha… mate, if I had a $ for every time I’ve ridden off with my helmet unsecured I would be living the high life at some fancy place by now 🤷🏻♂️😳🤣🤣. Take care bloke 🏍👍😎
I've got an older (2016) Bullet 500 which I keep alongside my 'big bike'. It's the worst motorcycle, dynamically, I've ever had, but the one that's absolutely captured my heart. Is it fast? Nope, but clipping around the lanes on it is great fun - it makes a lovely sound, makes old geezers on the side of the road wave as I go by, and I've been all over the South Downs, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Essex and Kent on it for weekends away with absolutely no problems at all. In fact, the last time I took it touring, it ended up being the donkey taking all of my mate's luggage, after his supposedly versatile Honda CB decided it didn't like having things strapped to its rear seat! No bother for little Enfield - it chugged along merrily.
Arent they Indian now?
Seems like you need to unclog the spaghetti wires and hoses.
Must have been one of those bike builds, that the worker put together, before going on vacation. Of course karma may injure that individual, at the workplace one day... Take care Jim, ride safe.
Love the old school speedometer
It’s my bike❤
As a biker I can confirm <----bell end. Or at least I'm called something along those lines on a daily basis lol. Hopefully you can get the Enfield up and running, I wouldn't want to be spending a few hundred quid for the sake of a bit of plastic.
Harley’s have lost their mojo and Indian to be honest are a little bit plasticy… gotta go Triumph or at least Euro and you are right when you’re spending good money its must make you feel special…
I own the Meteor 350 and am about to change up to the super meteor, the only thing i'll miss is the toe heel shifter on the meteor 350
Curious why the title said "worst bike ever"? You seem to like the bike just fine! I'm buying a 2022 350 Meteor this weekend for $2000, only 4k miles. Can't pass that deal up!
Unfortunately, to get the views on KZread, you have to make clickbait thumbnails and titles to get people to watch. They are fun bikes. I hope you enjoy yours ride safe.
Made in India , so what do you expect . I would not even think of buying one .Keep my 2010 z750r .
So you 'lifted the tank', (which means you had to disconnect the fuel line), but then blame RE for the badly connected fuel line! You either didn't disconnect the fuel line when you lifted the tank, straining the spigot to the point of failure or you didn't connect it back up properly and snapped the spigot off. Nothing to do with RE and lots to do with ham-fisted mechanics. Read the workshop manual mate and do the job properly.
Didn't lift the tank at that end. The fuel line was too long the other way pushing the connection to the pump outwards, obviously you didn't listen or clean understand thanks for the comment though.
Designed to meet the exacting standards of Indian motorcycling.
It seems RE even manages to have traditional 1960s style quality problems, but with modern plastics.
Don't tell the RE fanboys they won't believe you.
You kinda get what you pay for, and the quality has always been a bit dodgy on Enfields
You got a duff one, mine is perfect, 2 years on my Meteor has had zero faults.
I think your right, bike otherwise has been great.
@@JimDiesel71 Royal Enfield produced around 950,000 motorcycles in 2023, so many thousands of people are obviously happy to buy their machines. If yours is crap, you might just have bought what we used to call a Friday afternoon special.
RE is a horrible company! Even Indians are going for better options! I cringe when people in uk n Australia buy these vibrating metal scrap
Bought three over the space of 4 years) Hima 411/intercept/meteor...still have them all...all good (few small niggles) so unless you are a total mechanical numpty(in which case motorcycling is not for you) your post is BS...however have a nice day.
@@markpavlowski7223 maybe their export bikes r built better like a lot of other products from India , idk! Before saying motorcycling ain’t for me , lemme tell you I’m in this game for over 2 decades and have owned 15 motorcycles including 2 REs
I have a similar issue.(too much pipe)
Plasticuffs 😂. You perv 😂. Nice vid Jim.
What did you think when you buy a motorcycle that is made in India by child labor, a quality product
He hasn't.
refuse to give back the titanium! GO FULL CYBORG!!!
You didn't walk around the bike and talk about the whole bike and get a close-up of the bike!
Suii
36/42 is where you're going wrong I always run 32/36 on any tyre. Lovely grip from the softer front, and nice soft rear for acceleration. Wear doesn't seem to affected too much from running these pressures.
I got these recently fitted so might try that, thanks. Is the tyre pressure recommendations as per tyre manufacturer or bike manufacturer?
@@martinrea8548 most bikes manuals tell you to run 36/42 but it’s way too hard for corners. 32/36 offers quicker warm up and more corner grip. Wear may be affected but honestly I don’t notice faster wear. The BT023’s take all day to warm up too, I’m getting them taken off my MT07 for a pair of Road 6’s, I hate the BT’s, so slippy in the wet.
@@Rempai420 ok, thanks for that. I think my Honda Cb500f manual does indeed recomend 36/42. I had Michelin Road 5s and was very happy with them but they fitted there Battlax 23s when I had her serviced. I've scrubbed them in but haven't been out on the bike since. I'm planning a long ride next weekend. I'm a bit nervous now, although other reviews have given them good marks. I guess I'll just have to find out for myself.
Well, I was out for a spin today, about 100 miles all in, dry conditions, it must be said, but I found my new tyres amazing-the holding was inspiring and I drove like a man possessed; cornering, overtaking, everything was great. I haven't tested them in the wet yet, but based on today's performance they get a big thumbs up from me. 🏍👍
Morning Jim, good videos, enjoying the rants ha ha. Yes the weather is crap at this time of year for us Motorcyclists. Never known a June like it. Pity with the Enfield that you can't take it to the same mechanic you are using for the Triumph. Guys sounds like he knows what he's doing. Safe riding bud. 🙂
The sun has literally just come out, Ive been watching the video while getting my gear on.
Awful weather for the last couple of years yet they still try to gaslight us with climate change nonsense.
The weather is definately a downer....and glad I didn't bother with krazy horse if the idiots were about. Here's to some sunshine soon. Cheers Jim 😎
