It is almost comical that the author don't seem to know that the anglians are migrants from Denmark just 300 years earlier. And the Saxons came from southern Jutland and Northern Germany at the same time. They settled in areas ending on -ex. So the vikings raided people they knew who were. Not "Brits" as such. The Celts (brits ) were pressed back to Wales, and Scotland.

Because I fell in love with Ancient Mesopotamian cultures only about ten years ago, I recall feeling flabbergasted for realizing that I had spent most of my life without knowing the valiant Assyrians and their embattled cousins in Babylon. Even more disturbing is the fact that my beloved Mesopotamian civilizations occupied the terrible, modern territory of Islamic fundamentalists... ISIS obliterated the ruins of Asshur about six or seven years ago. Thanks for this upload!

Books didn't exist until well into the Christian era - all we had prior to this were clay tablets, parchment pieces or papyrus scrolls. The famed Alexandria library didn't have a single book. By "book" I mean the codex book -pages held together by a spine -one of the prime motivation for this invention was the need to keep copies of the bible from being added to once the biblical canon was established.

You lost me with the ridiculous statement that "... Hammurabi ruled the Babylonian kingdom from the early 19th Century BCE to the 16th Century BCE" at 1:47. You might wanna verify your facts: Hammurabi was born in 1810BC, ascended the throne at age 17, ruling from 1792BC to his death in 1750BC.
