SegWood

SegWood

SegWood Design was founded in 2018 with a passion to provide unique, high quality, well designed home furnishings. Every piece is hand curated and handcrafted, using solid wood, laminated wood and resins, so the structure, the pattern and the final results will vary from piece to piece, depending on the essence of the wood and the pouring of the resins. The materials we use are the best on the market, ensuring that every SegWood piece meets our high quality standards.
The resins used in the process can seal any type of material, so we can combine solid wood, laminated wood, or even live edge wood, with different other decoration objects ( such as flowers, pebbles, etc.)
The manufacturing process is very complicated, so it may last between 3 and 6 weeks.

Merci beaucoup

This table arrived well packaged and on time. kzread.infoUgkxn94T8Mu1iMnsLCMNOI9srXSsLkI4JXKW Like another reviewer advised, I pulled everything out and made sure everything was included (everything was!). I built it alone and it took me about an hour. The color is great and for the price the lift part works well. As others have mentioned, it’s not the smoothest opening/closing, but it works. The screws do show, but I plan to order white sticker covers if that bothers us too much. Really happy with this table! UPDATE: it’s been over a year since we got this coffee table and we still love it! It gets HEAVY use as our dining table, foot rest, and school desk. Over time, the opening and closing mechanism has gotten smoother. I added a new photo with the white screw cover stickers. They blend in perfectly and make it look a little cleaner. 100% recommend!!!

No you shouldn't do this! Why? You think it will become clean, mirror-like surface, like in the video? Hell no! You're gonna end up with the ugly scratches all round your resin, that's almost impossible 2 remove. Never trust a stupid KZread vids, bcs it's will be your fault, not theirs. They're just made it to show off, and nothing else.

Nice table! Poplar is a very soft wood, did you seal it before the epoxy or is it not needed?

Curious as to why you encased the wood in epoxy rather than leaving it exposed and doing a oil/wax finish.

Is it good to sand the wood also along with higher than 220 or 240 grit.. or there is thin layer of epoxy over wood that is why you are sanding the entire surface with such high grits?

For future reference... if you're going to do a "subtitles only" video, maybe don't use white text when your background is a white table! I could only see like 3 words from most sentences because there's no contrast between letters & background.
