Welcome! This channel is primarily focused on helpful content for Subnautica and Below Zero players.
I started out as a casual player, then got into speedrunning a bit, and found that a LOT of people are still getting into Subnautica for the first time and had questions, so I've created a full walkthrough and several How-to videos.
Please subscribe if you're interested, and by all means reach out to me if you have questions or something you'd like to see a tutorial on in a future video.

I did exactly what you did before I even watched the video
arent you afraid of the blood crawlers ?
Still can't find the sea glide, where is it?
There's always 1 fragment (you'll have to scan 2 of them) guaranteed just outside Lifepod 3, just inside that band of kelp, a bit north and a little west of the northern geyser. The rest spawn semi-randomly. Look for slightly damaged boxes randomly on the sand anywhere in the shallows (there'll be similar ones just inside the kelp forest with mobile vehicle bay fragments). The patches of wreckage around the perimeter of the shallows are places the fragments are more likely (but not guaranteed) to appear. If you've patrolled all around the edges of the shallows and you're still not seeing seaglide fragments, you do have the option of just restarting; sometimes you just get bad luck/bad spawns, and this early in the game, you haven't lost much if you start over. Edit: if you do decide to swim the whole perimeter of the shallows, be really careful around the south end. A) it gets pretty close to a place (that patch of crash zone by the Aurora's thrusters) where a reaper hangs out, and B) if the Aurora has exploded by now, there will be radiation in the area.
Tree cove bases are the best, im glad of your base
Thanks so much very helpful!
Nice vídeo, it's helped me a lot to reach the LR in safe and with all the resources
Keep going mate
i love your channel
why wasn't the scanner picking those up?
Most of them were out of range.
That's what I named my submarine.
same, verne rules
I am stuck in the inactive lava zone with my cyclops out of power and 14% left on my prawn suit so I am going to try to take out the power cell so I can put it in the cyclops then it will charge the power cells that I put in the cyclops which I hope that it works but if it doesn’t then I’ll probably quit the game because I have tried everything else and I haven’t been success full yet but if this idea works I hope you all have a blessed day even if it doesn’t work
Yeah I’m quitting the game because it didn’t work and I accidentally saved so now I can’t even RESPAWN AT MY LIFEPOD WHICH I CANT DO BECAUSE IF THE CYCLOPS
@@Zack_FM aw, bummer, man. Sorry I didn't see this sooner, but yeah, you can't charge power cells in the cyclops. If you're stuck in ILZ but you can find your way into the alien thermal plant, there's air in there, and a cube you can use to open the portal there. It takes you back to the mountain island and you can go home, build some spare power cells and bring them back to the cyclops... But sometimes the best thing to do is just restart the game and try to anticipate the mistakes you made the first time.
@@TheIppus sadly all my attempts to reach it have failed because I am right next to a sea dragon
FINALLY I found the lava castle entrance and made it to the alien base and now I got back home and brought power cells back so now everything is ok and all my stuff is back
omg finally someone who makes CLEAR instructions I just started my playthrough and you helped me so so much, thank you!
I just literally bumped in 3 crab squid and a ghost Leviathan
i shoold of watched this BEFORE my cyclps exploaded
I must admit that I've never used the Blood Kelp Trench to access the Lost River, I've always used the lifepod 2 entrance, but from now on, the BKT entrance is gonna be my go to entrance. It's gonna be so peaceful not having to dance around the Juvenile Ghost Leviation with silent running draining half my power. :) Thank you very much for these vids, you've done a stellar job. :)
...so first you bring your cyclops to the tree cave 🥵
My cyclops is called Canada, Eh. Can see it on my channel in the shorts.
THANK YOUUUU. I started my first playthrough on Switch. Stumbled across the Tree Cove and then I couldn't find it again. The draw distance is so short on Switch that it might as well be a different game. This is the only walkthrough of the many I looked at that actually got me there! Beacon set! Thank you again!
My issue of trying to get my Cyclops down into the Lost River is the fact that it's so dark that I can't actually see even with the headlights of the Cyclops cuz they God awful very obnoxious to drive as well I loaded up build a base down there only to not be able to navigate the blood kelp because of how dark it is
The floodlights are more for lighting the area while you're outside doing something. Try using the sonar to help you see thru the caves; it's much easier.
Me ramping my cyclops into the ghost juvenile
And then I used stasis rifle and knife
The perfect lost river base location is in the vent area between the cove tree and the alien facility. I firstly made thermal things to make energy and then sweeped them all to a nuclear reactor. That place is near the cove tree and as a result, a lava zone entrance
I really can finish the game right now but I don't want to
Also make a Reginald farm. They are the best fish in the game
Thanks!
Very clear & concise. Also there's no need to worry about Warpers warping you out of a base. They class the Cyclops as a base therefore 0% chance of a warper warping you out. :)
ive absolutely been warped out of my cyclops before...
@@patrickhelmold9878 Hmm. Possibly out of a wreck of the Aroura or a bug or a nightmare as they are a thing. :)
I've also thought about when you put in the base you should put a water filtration machine there with there being plenty of resources nearby
Yes, this is a good tip as the hotter biomes also seem to decrease hydration extremely rapidly. :)
However they deplete the power of the base faster. You will need several thermals energy things or just make a nuclear reactor
@@lazy_guy_2525 that is true but I'm so used to not having a chase after bladder fish that doing it again feels weird and also I don't have the blueprint for a nuclear reactor yet somehow I've gone to the Lost River four times and I don't have a nuclear reactor yet
@@Electrodoc1968that's when the stillsuit comes in super effective, even tho it does reduce your food there's plenty of red eyeye and stuff down there to cook for food.
Yeah I've gone through the trench with my seamoth and my prawn suit multiple times and every time I've gone there I thought "Damn I could probably bring a Cyclops through here but it would be very difficult"
Suggestion. It might be best to show us your route during the day because, at night, we can't see a damn thing. Plus, where is your starting point?
Yeah, that's completely fair, lol. I keep meaning to re-make this one in better lighting, just haven't gotten around to it.
So I followed your video about halfway through but even then on Xbox it's so dark that I can't see without sonar to the point it becomes more annoying then scary. I was able to do it but it took alot of trial and error.
Your cyclops has headlights, and each of the individual cameras have their own light as well. That might help? Other than that, can you not adjust the gamma correction in your graphics settings on Xbox (sorry, I've only ever played PC).
And here my dumb ass took the cyclops through the entrance with the ghost leviathan & skull 😑
um were are you because im still wondering were you started.
Thanks bro! Nice video, i still recomend the grand reef entrance but you also have your opnions, and i don't judge that, btw, thx so much!
Perfect video, thank you ! I now have my second base down there. What a stressful / fulfilling quest.
This is great!
Thanks for the videos, but this one hangs after 4 seconds?
Seems to have been a problem with the link to here from your other video. Got the original - working.
took a while because cyclops ran out of power and I had no backup cells Edit: almost got my prawn named reaper killer eaten by a ghosty Update: prawn survived at 45 hp those ghosts do serious damage
Great video! Exactly what I was looking for, thank you for making this!
Can you please start at Zero Zero next time?
You might find this video more helpful: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pGx6q8VwiNLOdZc.html It's not RIGHT at (0,0) but it is from the safe shallows, approximately (0, 200).
Thank you bro, i was looking for it after a long time
Who need Cyclops when you can solo lava zone with Prawn suit 😎
A cyclops is basically required if u want to build any kind of major base down there because you need to bring so many materials
In my first play through I found this trench, made a base on top of it, made the cyclops and took it down there cause I was like "This looks like the perfect place to go deep since it seems like a bottomless pit". Though weirdly when I cam down there, I came out at the huge skull with the alien tentacles
Bro decided to settle down there 💀
Pffffft, you think i dont know how to pilot a cyclops? Well you're fuckin RIGHT!!! TAKE my engagement NERD!!! (this is a complement (trust))
Nice, lol! It was a concern that just. Kept. Coming up. So I thought I'd make a video that might help some people...
I really appreciate your walkthroughs it helped me out a lot.
It tickled me to hear that there’s a dog wandering around in the lava zone barking at the leviathan 😄
Liked and subbed… Calm, cool and to the point, as well as useful tips… thank you 👍
I didnt get a data box on the outside and i only got one drill arm fragment
Unfortunately, the distribution of some fragments and data boxes is semi-random, so you might have to try a few different wrecks to get all the blueprints you want.
Great vid! btw If you active your shield for a second, it will pop off the lava leeches.
Personally, I don't dare to go out of my cyclops/prawn suit when I'm in the lost river so I just take the power cells from my prawn suit.
I remember seeing that for the first time and I didn't know and the sinking feeling when I knew i would be there for a while
This has been so helpful!
Awesome!
