  Have a question about adding sizes with prices. in managing menus, under the group settings for the size, do I allow guests to select more than one modifier on the size, or leave that has only one modifier can be chosen? Does it effect the quantity allowed?

  We have sized based pricing on most of our products - inside the item, we have each of these setup and then underneath it is the Modifier groups section. Most of our products have multiple modifier groups. This is totally fine. The size price is the base price and then any modifiers are added on top of that. You can specify in the modifier groups section whether to allow multiple selections from a modifier group, whether to have a minimum amount of selections or a maximum amount. You can also require, or not, the modifier group to be used.

  Hiii, thank you! I saw this in my workmate's sheet a few years ago and now that I need it, I was struggling on how to use it. I have a question, is it possible to have multiple criteria in the search bar and/or have different search bars to filter the query outcome. My use case: I have a data base for rental listings, with your help I can already use the search bar to filter out by condo name, I want to take it further and be able to filter it by number of bedrooms for example (and more). It's basically like using the filter-click on a table but a more user-friendly way. Thanks in advanced hope this is possible.

  Great question - I just learned something new figuring it out. Two things: you need to add the Gmail API service in the Apps Scripts menu first. Just click Add a service in the left sidebar after you open your apps script file and then scroll down to click Gmail. Then, you do have to arrange things a little different for the signature to work because it brings it in as html. Check out my sample version at the bottom of the original sheet's apps script file. I added a working function withSignatureLine() at the bottom.

  Hey there, you just need to change the named range EventList so that it goes down to whatever row you need it too. I use that named range in the Apps Script to keep it simple, but I also only defined it through row 19 for the same reason. Go to data - named ranges and you can edit that range accordingly.

  I wish that we were navigated from the Canva landing page to wherever this dashboard is. I have used Canva pro quite a bit and I have no idea how to get to the point where I can see any of these things or even the option to select gradient. My home page has Home, Magic Studio, Projects, Templates, Brand and App. A little set up in this video or even in the comments will increase the usefulness of this video dramatically.

  Hey thanks for the notes! So, my home page shows recent designs that includes the templates I've made. I usually can just click them straight from the grid on the homepage. But what I did in the video (and forgot to say!) was click on Brand - Brand Templates to pull up all the templates that I had created. A template isn't necessary, though it makes things faster. From scratch, you can click Create a design in the top right, plug in your dimensions (I use 1920x1080) and then start designing. Once the design (or template) is pulled up, Click elements on the left sidebar. This is where I search for everything including gradients and then just click to add to my thumbnail.

  I was constantly getting an error saying getResponse() is not a function. I put semicolon (;) at the end of all the lines except on .pop() and .getItemResponses() since they were part of line item 3. And the code worked like a charm ! Thank you so much :)

  You can do this all with Filter, if you want. Same deal as in my example, search for any unique character or string using the search bar. Then highlight the result range and right click - convert to table. (this is a new feature in sheets that makes this super easy now.) Then click the date column drop down from the header in the table and select filter. Select In Between, and then type in the dates you want to filter between. The only catch is that when you change the search term, you'll have to re click the filter for it to refresh the filtered rows.   What do you mean exactly? Importing reviews from a Google Maps listing? I am not sure you could do something like that as those pages are loaded quite dynamically.

  I just emailed you the details. Excel treats things a little differently so I made a couple edits on the workbook you emailed me. The main ones were wrapping the search function with ISNUMBER and then making sure the named ranges exactly match the selections for the indirect function

  Thanks for this! I got this message when I ran the script "These were already created: ${alreadyCreated}"... when I clicked the "ok", the next message that came out was "These were newly added: ${newEvents}"... I checked my calendar and nothing was created. What do I need to fix?

  I'm playing with the spreadsheet. kind of reverse engineering it, there doesn't seem to be a way to add amounts. every amount is deducted from the total. is there a way to make one of the 'Categories' add to the total instead of deduct?

  Definitely! Two options that are easy: highlight the whole range, so in my example B2:D251. Then right click and select Create filter. This will pop up little filter options in the header row where you can sort just like you're asking. The other brand new option is to highlight the whole range, right click and select Convert to table. Same deal - it'll add those filter options where you can sort it alphabetically by any of the columns.

  Where is the VIA software download? I only see it online. I'm trying to change the volume percent changed from 2% to 1% per click but can't figure out how It would also be nice to be able to use the sliders to adjust any setting my mouse is toggled over (hovering over youtube volume, in video editors like Davinchi for Color, etc.)

  The simplest way to do this is to simply add the text inside the anchor <a> tag for each of the pics. This will display as part of the hyperlink underneath the pic and will, when clicked, also open up the image in the lightbox pop up. Not the only way, but the quickest with how this is currently set up. Thanks for the question!

  Hey There ! Thanks so much for the video. SUPER helpful. I was curious - is there a way to set it up so you can send additional columns? More or less have what would be the subject for instance, be divided amongst numerous columns, but still function the same. Would that involve changing the numbers, as in adding e4, e5, etc while changing the send to whatever the last one is (i.e. e7)? Thanks !

  Hey there! yes, you can do this a couple ways. The easiest (imo) would be to have those numerous columns combine into one in the spreadsheet itself. So if you've got three cells with three paragraphs in the spreadsheet somewhere, simply concatenate them together into the one cell (column C in my example). For instance, =H2+I2+J2, would combine those three cells into one. The other way would be to do it in the code itself, but generally, this is more tedious.   Hey! Yes, you could add a dropdown for the data you want to sort. You'd name those ranges (range1, range2, range3...) and then you'd replace "transactions" with that range in the filter part of the formula. You'd have to add additional search columns in the other dropdown to match up with the different options, so it could get a little hairy, but that's where I'd start.   Glad to help! And, yes, you can change on thing on line 25 to get the values on newlines within the cell. Line 25. Change the join(', ') part to join(' ').   This is great! However I was wondering, is it now possible to filter or sort the results to quickly show all where a given item from the list was selected? Of course you can sort by column as usual, but if you're looking for all rows with "Red", say, and sometimes it's "White, red, green" and sometimes it's "Red, yellow" or "Brown, red", when just sorting alphabetically those will be all over the place in the column.

  Hey there, yes, you can do this...Say you add a couple rows at the top and have the year in C1 and the month in C2...you can put this formula in B3 so it updates that first month to the month and year you specify: =DATE(C1,MONTH(C2&1),1)... I may make another video on this since I like your approach better than the full year laid out. If you do this, just delete all the rows below it

  @eamonnCotrell, Hi first of, amazing video it's been very helpful. I do have a small problem. When i use the script and press execute it does everything it is supposed to but it gives me an error, " Exception: The parameters (String,String,(class)) don't match the method signature for CalendarApp.Calendar.createAllDayEvent. " i have checked the sheet and the value within the cell is a valid date (not a string). any ideas?

  I will typically create a combined big table on one sheet to make searching it easier. So I'll use array formulas to bring everything together first rather than trying to create a huge formula to search both ranges separately...although you could do that if need be.
