Here’s Anteo, a proud dad of 3 dogs living in Bergamo, a north Italian town not far from the Alps, and I’m on KZread to share my passion for MOUNTAIN and NATURE in general, which I like to live through my Jeep Wrangler, equipped with rooftop tent and prepared for camping on the trail!!
With my videos I try to convey the emotions I feel when I’m surrounded by nature hoping to give some minutes of pleasure to those who are watching my stories! Deep down in my heart I wish I could tell those stories to one special person who is no longer with me, but by putting my adventures here I feel like she can still watch and see what I am doing on this Earth and this pushes me to make better and better videos!

We were stationed at a NATO base on LaModalena in the early 90's. Explored and camped most of Sardinia and Caprera in a 67VW type2 campervan and on a BMW R100RT. Beautiful cou try.
I guess in the 90's the Nato base was still active, wasn't it?

Thank you! I usually look for tracks on wikiloc and then I cross check with maps, street view or google earth then I create my own tracks or simply follow the ones I found

Hello Amos, Nice video. Everywehre, I read that wild camping is strictly forbidden en enforced in Sardinia. So, did you had any problems ? Also, looks like safety can be an issue. Thanks
Hi! Safety it's not an issue at all.. while about wild camping, you should avoid most touristic areas and possibly also avoid high season

Very inspirational. I consider buying a roof top tent and some camping equipment to pack it on my little Suzuki and travel Europe. Unfortunately I have nobody to come with me. So I am a little bit scared of doing it in my own. You have any advice ot tip?

Thank you so much! actually it should not be allowed as per the italian law, but in reality it is quite tolerated, except in most turistic places and during high season... I have friends that have been fined at day time only because they had their table out of the car, so always be careful! bye
