Was September 2019 so far the last time the Coast starlight has detoured Tehachapi? I hope it does since because I’ve never seen an Amtrak there in person. I was going to this exact day as I was there, but unfortunately I got a denial being able to see it because of the holdup that happened in the San Fernando Valley due to the incident and lost the ability to get to see it pass through as I was long gone by the time it came and sadly will probably never see it detour with a P42 as it’ll probably be an ALC-42 by the time it has the chance to detour again

I took two Metrolink trains this year. First time I took one back in February from Union Station. That was mainly to see the Santa Fe 3751 from the bridge. I got off at Commerce and I saw a Norfolk Southern locomotive, a Ferromex locomotive, and a Kansas City Southern locomotive. Second time I took a train from San Juan Capistrano to Union Station. I saw another Ferromex locomotive while I was the train.
