Now for another crude settlement experiment…
Great use of glass to see the generators from the outside! 🎉
This mods ?
No mods
So that's how the conduits that go through walls work! Nice build and tips :o)
Kein Spieler muss dort auf den Turm, ich habe beide Teile bei legendären Gegnern gefunden!!! 😎
Your videos are great for learning the basics. Many people have uploaded god level settlement tour videos, but they are hard to imitate. Thank you!
Amazing Vídeo! I did Build this Ship yesterday and a Lot of Fun ⚓⚓⚓
I love this design, I hope you can make a small player house tutorial!
dude, this is beautiful! I might build one for one of my settlements 😊
Thanks!!!
Is this in easy mode? Since when can you kill that with a knife
I play on very hard. That knife is a Disciples Cutlass. It's a really strong melee weapon.
@@Cb9611 Cool, where do you get that? I need to damage like that vs a mirelurk!!! Great video all the same. Hope for a response. Thanks man
@@mrcboggie For me, this was a random legendary drop. But I've heard there is a version in Nuka World that has the same legendary effect as mine. (Mine has the poison effect, same as Kremvh's Tooth)
Just delete them with console commands and then exit and enter the game again so you can still get achievements
I like the idea of the individual rooms, but from a lore perspective, how would all that glass survive so perfectly? Also, it's essentially a greenhouse, so it must be hot as hell in that barracks lol
Thanks for this. Also, I like how one of the skeletons grabbed the fence in attempt to stop you from pushing them out. "No! I've lived here for 200 years."
I was thinking that while recording lol. That dude was fighting for his (undead) life. 😂😂😂
NOTE: This is patched out in any current version of Fallout 4. The enchantment exists (it is what goes on Power Armor) but there is no already made item with this ability in the game. Hit the console and type "help freefall 0" and you will see it does not exist (again, current version). Plus, in all these videos, NONE of them mention using the console to TCL up to that spot. Ok fine for console peeps, but good lord at least mention it if you are on a PC.
I've tested using TCL to get up there and I have seen that the freefall leg armor does not spawn if using that command. I did this on vanilla FO4 on PC after the latest update. It works still.
It does not work
Ensure you are using weapons for this and you are within settlement bounds. You have to store the weapons while I'm workshop mode. You cannot just pick them up. Let me know if that works?
@@Cb9611 it doesn’t
@@Cb9611 I will give it another try
@@Cb9611 later
This is no mod and classic you play in normal mod goody
Is this new ??? I can’t remember any islands from my original playthroughs 😮. Where is it ?
It's been in the game since launch. It's the island just east of The Castle.
@@Cb9611 Ah ok. Now you mention the Castle that does ring a bell. Im on my third playthrough now so will investigate more 👍🏻
@@DorisDay-lw4xs Nice, have fun out there! And watch of for those Mirelurks!
I like the stripe design 🎉
Thank you….ive often wondered if we could get rid of them. Do you know of a way to permanently remove the dead feral ghouls at Croup manor and sunshine settlements. I’ve carried them halfway across the map and they still return.
Unfortunately, bodies act a little different. Sometimes they despawn naturally and other times they do not. In that case, I'd recommend console commands if that is an option for you.
I never even thought of building a gatehouse. Great vid!
This is a perfect idea for larger settlements, I love this! Thank you!
In my settlements I build a tall building, ground floor has merchants and entertainment (slot machines, gym ECT), and i try to put in a cafeteria second and third floors are residential, forth floor tends to be rec room (TV, pool table) and oversear office.
It works well cause if it gets attacked I just lock it down, and let the turrets and guards handle it, while the civilians are safe locked inside.
Hundreds/thousands of hours I've put into this game, and I've never been in that bar or done this quest. I stopped the video, and went and played through it myself. Some things I read about in the wiki afterwards: If you do anything other than a 50/50 split with Paul, he treats you badly from then on out, and tells people all kinds of horrible things about you. However, you can do the 50/50 split, then just steal all the chems from the chest. My game bugged, and Paul was about 200 feet away from the crates, so it was really easy for me to waltz over and take them, but I read you can just use a stealthboy. Thanks for showing me something new in this game!
How did you get your build capacity bar down to zero?
I have a mod for that.
It's cool and all but where's the bathroom?
There's a wonderful body of water just behind the airport there. Lol
Thank you for this!
I always thought getting the castle mission only after getting three other settlements was just bad programming
Yeees been waiting for this ep
I've already got all the way up to episode 25 recorded. Just gotta edit the 12+ hours of footage lol. Thanks for watching mane!
R.I.P. Randy.
great tutorial, thanks! please can you make video of your suggestions for other non complicated buildings built like stores marketplace or houses? thanks
I will definitely work on one today. Should be posted by tomorrow.
Nice, but wtf would wanna live in a greenhouse? 😂
Just a suggestion as to garden plot contents: - On each plot, you should be able to plant a Mutfruit Tree, a Tato Vine & a Corn Stalk. If you use three plot for this plan, then each harvest will grant most of the mats for Vegetable Starch aka Adhesive. (The other ingredient is 1 Purified Water.) - Since you've got 11 plots available, I'd recommend 6 plots with the above layout, allowing for at least 2 Vegetable Starch per harvest. (It also grants sufficient Food for 12 Settlers, a lovely point to aim for.) Note: 2 Settlers will be needed to farm those crops. - With 5 available garden plots left free, I'd recommend planting 5 Razorgrain; there's no Food points from Razorgrain but, honestly, mixing it with Dirty Water makes a Noodle Cup, the best cooked food in the Commonwealth, as it cures both Hunger and Thirst. 5 Plots means 5 Noodle Cups, provided that you have the bottles for the Dirty Water you gather from the nearby lake.
This ship is amazing, thanks for the build!
18:54 “O Cait of the Castle walls, what is your wisdom?”
There is a mod to rebuild the castle walls
Man: Sees a fort castle to rebuild. Also man: Puts up windows & builds a bodega out of thinly sheets of metal walls at the entrance. Win. That's building logic in Fallout 4. 😂
Hell yeah, it's my vacation home 😂
Ive been trying to submerge the lower section into a bunker complex but damn its hard
Are you playing as a chick?
Yes
@@Cb9611 Are you a chick?
I normally build my fortress of solitude there.
the wooden shack foundations work like huge rugs which you can sink into the ground without group select, really weird item, the only item in the game that works that way to my knowledge
This design will be perfect for The Atom Cats
Atom Cats are the coolest cats around! lol
Love this design. Fits well. After you sanctuary video I copied it. All of your builds there is always something that makes me go dammit why didn't I think of that. If I don't feel like having a store n the first floor I go 3 floors wide to slim it down to make just a barracks.
I understand that feeling. I've seen other builds from other creators that leaves me with the same feeling. Like how didn't I think about that? lol
Where is that armor from? Looks great!
It's just regular combat armor with the BOS skin from the Creation Club.
Swim to the big green boat, flip the switch, and run to the hut and activate the siren. Can be done at level one without having to fight a single enemy.
Had the Alternate Start mod, spawned at Spectacle Island on survival mode, gained five levels, died several times but I finally got the workshop running. Did I not mention I was running Mutant Menagerie?
I feel like a lot of people are gonna be coming to this video because of the fallout show reigniting interest in fallout 4 and its next gen update
Easier way is to turn power on and then run back to flip the switch in the shack. It scared all the critters including the queen.
Yep. Can even be done at level one without fighting anything at all.
@@theinsaneshecklador6598 It can be done also at higher levels. At least it worked for me. First time I got killed by the Queen. Second time I fled and went to the shed. Pressed the button and all the Minelurks ran away, or behave irregulary.
@@sjoerdtollenaar4089 Absolutely. The same thing can be done at high levels. Much easier than fighting the queen and other lurks..
Don't forget to check out the containers, there's MANY safes to unlock and then scrap in settlement mode.
Great info!! Thanks I am gonna get this ASAP 😁
