I do the opposite of her. I bend my knee on the longer leg instead of tippy toe with short leg. Does anyone else accidentally scoot foot of long leg across the floor when taking a step?

Yes, she had it backwards. The shoulder will drop on the oppsite side of the shorter limb. But the hip knee and foot of the shorter limb will drop.
