I was in the car show back in 1982 when it was on Price St. Thanks for the video! We did a lot of cruising down by the pier back then.

For this video, I focused more on the event itself rather than personal interactions, but that's definitely something I am working on incorporating on future videos. I will certainly be posting upcoming events/shows, but lately I've been trying to strike a balance between inland/coastal/south/north events. Taft was a very pleasant surprise! I was scheduled to be at another event later on that day, but made a detour an inadvertently - I ended up in Taft and saw the car show, so I ended up staying there instead. There were such great people there, and yes... some awesome cars -- and, trucks! The one at 2:56 left an impression on me. Wow, such a stunner!

I use to live in SC in college. I don't recall much street vending. Is it now super common?
Hi. It does appear common; however, not so much in the summer time along Beach Street (Boardwalk/Wharf area); you also see vendors downtown. Seems the city heavily regulates vendors though. I just shot video of the boardwalk last weekend and there were no vendors, which sort of surprised me - then I saw posted signs that referred to an ordinance, and if I recall correctly, there were dates shown where vendors weren't allowed along Beach street.
where is the parking areas the trails are look long
Hi. The trails are quite long, because there are actually several trails that are a combined 80+ miles. Think of it as plenty of options to choose from, as every trail has its share of scenic beauty. Primary parking is at the Fort Ord National Monument on highway 68, (Google maps has the address as: Toro Creek Rd, Marina, CA 93933), this one has ample parking and a restroom; the other two parking areas are on the east side of the trails in what is called, the Salinas side: The North Fort Ord Trailhead at 15281 Reservation Rd, Salinas, California. People usually park along the road here. This one does not have a restrooms. and the other has ample parking and a restroom, the Creekside Terrace Trailhead and Google has it location on Creekside Terrace, Salinas, CA 93908. Those are the typical parking areas, there are other areas you can park at the Toro Park residential area, Cal State Monterey Bay, and at the Laguna Seca Recreation Area Campgrounds, which also offers camping sites (www.countyofmonterey.gov/government/government-links/weathertech-raceway/laguna-seca-recreation-area).
