Let the high handicap test this out ..
Curious to know if you can reach your Driver numbers by putting the Mini at 11 degrees and shifting the heavy weight to the front. Only 30 yards away now at 13.5 and with the weight at the back….
No lefty options just one stock loft and bounce. Pain
Thank you for the breakdown!!
The Mavrik Max was such a fun driver to hit, but was too spinny for me.
Those ball speed numbers are wild bro 😅
Thanks
sheesh! from other long drivers where you really launch and loaded for that swing, this one is about coiling up for that swing. quite a unique perspective!
it would have been better to let Matt Wallace do all the talking and explain his full warm-up routine, rather than haing to listen to banter.
Cleveland smart sole chipper much better and easy to use from chipping to 100 yr approach also cheaper (much...)
Stop using the Lord’s name in vain
How do they compare to the Wilson dynapower forged?
The Dynpower forged have more forgiveness and a slightly larger head shape.
Should the ferrule look bent I just got one of these I'm wondering if it might be slightly broken
If it seems like it's bent I would take it you local club builder or fitter and check the loft and lie.
Man, you deserve more subs. Keep it up
Thanks
I've had this now for about 3 weeks and I've already seen a massive change. Simply understanding the release of the club in relation to my own swing has been eye-opening.
Those numbers don't make sense, club speed went up 2 mph, spin dropped by 1350 and carry distance only increased by 3 yards? Something is wrong with the data.
Ordered mine through Golf Town custom shafts 1 degree weak and 2 degree flat aprox 3 weeks wait for them to arrive... Got them now and I am extremely excited how they feel...
Glad you are enjoying them.
King of efficiency
I have both in the 11.5 loft ,like the Taylor way better, off the tee Taylor is just as long if not longer but handles wind better , off the deck easy win for Taylor , I would still be happy with the Callaway if I never owned the Taylor made thou.
please do the 11.5 versions
There won't be to much difference with 11.5 apart from lower launch and spin. Callaway will be good off the tee with the deeper face and the TaylorMade will easier to hit off the fairway and tee with the shallower face.
I’m overlap😊
I’m overlap Can anyone tell me if that good or is interlock better
interlock much easier to get distance
I've always been overlap. There's no right or wrong it's what feels comfortable for you.
The problem that I have never played golf
awesome, love Woosie's enthusiasm!
'Make golf easy'.....LOL! You people need to stop the lying!
Ive never gamed a better set of irons than the g410s
I bought one of these a few months back. It took me awhile to get used to it. It's a heavy club with a hot face. Once I learned how to control the ball of the face, it was a game-changer. My hdcp. has dropped 4 strokes. Reason: If I miss the green (usually do), I use the ChipR. I'm able to chip the ball close to the pin, so that usually leaves me with a one putt. Yesterday, I played 9 holes with my usual group. Even they said the club should be illegal. Out of 9 holes, the ChipR left me within 2 feet of the hole on 4 of them. Everyone wanted to try my ChipR after seeing what I could do with it. I didn't have any chip-ins from off the green, but over 18 holes, I usually have at least one chip-in. I usually don't make GIR and end up on the fringe. This club has me chipping within 2 feet for an easy up-and-down. For 9 holes on this course, I usually shoot 4-5 over. Yesterday, I shot 1 under, and that's not unusual anymore because of this club. Play back of stance, hit down on the ball (not too hard...heavy club). This puts some spin on the ball which will make it check. This club hits the ball dead straight...you just need to control the speed.
Would be great to also get the following impact and ball data: Dynamic Loft, Angle of Attack, Face, Path, Landing Angle. Thanks :)
Will keep that in mind for the next video.
I own both. Callaway’s is better. Their metal wood lineup across the board is king this year.
Course you do
@@andy30112002 don’t be mad that I can afford it. Be happy for me. I hope you get there too
How do they hit off the deck?
@@uofawayne i am an 11 HCP and haven’t ditched my driver or 3 wood yet. I carry all 3 and use all 3. Not confident in it off the deck enough to say bye bye to the trusty 3 wood at all.
I love seeing these two clubs compared, as it seems like a decent option for those of us who need help off the tee but don't have the time for lessons and practice to actually fix driver... I'd love to see this repeated with the 11.5 degree options in both clubs to really get a sense what's a fairway replacement and what's a driver replacement.
Look at a Macgregor Titan 1, 2, 3
They are just fairway woods. If they are not, specify why not. Same head size as the older 1980-1990 drivers.
So if they have the same size head as old drivers, how did you conclude they are fairway woods?
Because the fairway woods and drivers had basically the same sized heads. Loft was the difference
@@atfinthehouse8631 Ahh.
So this dude is y'all's off-brand Rick Shiels??? 😂
Need way more shots for a sample size
There’s no such thing as a great driver nowadays.., it’s about ur swing at ur own risk
💯
Is there a way to get different weights for the Callaway so you can dial in your own preferred flight?
Probably through a custom fitting. Alternatively, they look to be standard weight plugs that you can easily find on eBay.
There are weight sets sold online. I bought one to dial in my TD and will mess with the mini driver weights when it arrives.
@@Jlittle523so they’re the same fit as the larger smoke driver?
I know these are not necessarily a single shot but I can't wrap my head around the carry for thr low spin callaway.... That ball speed, spin and height would be a 300+ carry on most launch monitors no?
@@MrMatthew262 yes, the weights will all be the same except the slider weight in the Max driver.
How does this ai smoke triple diamond compare to the paradym triple diamond as far as ball speed and distance?
What shaft you have in that ai smoke triple diamond?
if they made they mini the same loft as the big driver then it would give competition. i have a 10* mini driver and it competes with my callaway epic that is 9*. find a mini driver with lower loft , then compare , it will blow your mind !
Just adjust it down
Why are you using an 8i for the Qi10 vs a 9i like the other two and then a 4i vs a 5i ? Why not apples to apples. This to me is misleading information when you're using different clubs to test distances.
Please review the Ben Hogan Edge EX irons, there aren’t hardly any reviews of these. I like the idea of a Forged game improvement iron.
Ram stuff has been really good lately.
This guy doesn't return any messages😅😅 why would anybody like And subscribe😅😅
... and he was about to hit another ... "go.. go and practice" NEXT!
Cool. How many pounds for a customized golf set.
Very suspicious about the trackman results. 360 yards for total distance, knowing that Rory Mcilroy and Bryson Deschambeau have an average distance of 335 yards. Its completly fake
Proper shoes are absolutely as important as properly fitted clubs. Most obvious on course vs a range mat. I'm a good 5-10 strokes lower HCP with spikes vs sneakers. Simply unplayable if there's dew/rain and you're hitting on any kind of slope. If you read greens with aim point, wearing not only the right shoes but the SAME shoes is important so you don't have different feel in your feet. Caveat, it might not make any difference if the player doesn't engage their lower body in the swing.
Andy Murray gone into golf!
The problem, the white hot insert will sucker you into thinking it's super soft and it feels awesome in the store. Then, after a few weeks of playing, you begin to have distance control problems with the insert. So many better players end up not liking the insert because of the speed problems. The milled faces are just more consistent, so having this tech in a milled face is interesting. Although in reality, it's probably not much different than it evnroll has been doing for a while, just with a different approach to the face thickness
Try hitting over that tree from 240 yards
