Great music! But didn't realize they sold Beyonce albums in the 70s. 😂 So much for AI!

The noun nostalgia was invented by a Swiss doctor who put together the Greek word for “homecoming “ nostos and algos “pain, distress” as a literal translation for the German Heimweih “homesickness “. After reading these comments, some of us who remember this time are feeling those very things. I was born in 74’, both of my parents died 6 years ago- only child , never married or had children. I remember grocery shopping with my grandmother on Saturday nights and falling asleep on her couch when the Carol Burnett Show was on. This scenery and music is so comforting and these comments are making me cry. ❤

Born in 1958, I remember there were only a few brands of bread, Wonder, Butternut, Holsum and Roman Meal. If you wanted something special, you sent go the bakery. Only a couple of salad dressings, Wishbone, Kraft and Good Seasons with the glass cruet. I'm sure I'm leaving some out, but, it was a simpler time.
