Thanks brother. Been looking for a better option than a scissor blind. It’s a pain with a long tail motor. Awesome info.

Great video. Could you put up a video of putting the blind on the boat? Did you zip tie the blind material to the lower rails too or just the tops?

Just incase there is another way I'm sure since you took the track and hydro line off to get to the back left mount I need to do the same for Un installing

did you rebuild hydrostat? i was pretty worried about charging pump with oil afterwards. did you not charge the pump with oil or just relied on it sucking up oil from tank?

Great vid. I have a T250 which I think is the same other than the lift style. My pump appears to have sprouted a bad leak at the pulley shaft seal, now I have to pull the whole motor like you did. Things were going good one day and the power started to fall as it started leaking fluids badly. The front engine mounts appear to be a pita to get at. Is removal of the tracks really required? I know the manual states to remove the tracks but I saw another KZread vid and the guy somehow did it without removing the tracks on a T250. I'm just trying to limit the amount of work. I'm not sure if I just replace the pump seal or if something else in the pump is causing the seal leak. I would hate to have to remove everything again thinking it was just a worn seal. I am tempted to take the pump apart and have a look, but it seems the parts may not be much cheaper then just getting a rebuilt unit as you mentioned Where did you get the rebuilt pump? I'm in Canada and things seem limited here.

@@davejanssens6840 Well I'm glad I pulled my tracks. Found the left side tensioner spring was cracked in 3 locations, which explained why the track was pointing a little to the outside. The spring was still holding together, just collapsed on itself. Bobcat wanted you to buy the entire assembly for ~$1700 Cdn and it was on back order for months. I got 2 springs custom made locally with a 5 week lead time, springs unpainted for $450 Cdn. Needed the shop press for this job. Both sides getting Bobcat tensioner seal kits I also discovered only had 1 of the three bolts holding the pump to the frame. One bolt near the pulley was broke and the large bolt on the RHS, broke the 1/4" plate. I made a new plate, 5/16" thick using a Plasma and left more meat around the bolt holes. Upon further discovery I noted the belt tensioner bushing was toast and sloppy which probably caused vibrations causing the bolts to snap. I bought a new bushing from Bobcat but made a new bushing pivot on the lathe from Stainless I had around. All engine rubber mounts needed to be replaced, $400 price tag for 8 rubbers, plus new grade 8 bolts and nuts. I decided to pull the pump apart and things were in great shape. I replaced the 2 needle bearings, only $15 ea. from the local bearing supply. The 2 main shaft bearings had minor race pitting, only noticeable after I cleaned out the oil which can mask issues, $20 ea from bearing supplier. The shaft seal was shot and the shaft had a minor groove so I matched sleeve to a SKF - 99121. I used genuine Bobcat shaft seal, but an aftermarket seal kit for rest of pump. On the top of the pump, I replaced all 4 roller bearing studs, made 3 shafts SS slider shafts and replaced all the plastic bushings. No more slop now on the motor drive linkages. Replaced all the rubber hoses and the fuel p/u and return bushings on the tank. Motor/pump were out and easy to access, so piece of mind. Noticed the fuel filler hose clamp was missing at the tank....fire waiting to happen. Left side hydraulic metal pipe had dropped and was close to (+) battery terminal so another fire hazard needed to be addressed. A metal pipe clamp cushion system sourced from local hydraulic supplier makes this more secure than the plastic Bobcat clamp. Just working on boring both lift cylinders and machined up custom sleeves to match installed with Loctite 609. The grease maintenance was poor on this machine and the pin holes at the base of the lift cylinders were wallowed creating excessive slop. Also discovered 2 large bolts holding track frame to the body, below motor were snapped. Some fun drilling out with Drill Hog bolt removers getting it done. So a leak on at pump seal ended up exposing a bunch of issues that I'm glad are getting addressed now before things got worse.

looks nice and all but thing I would hate is that there non sliding so if your working with the door on and need to tell someone something outside without opening the door your kinda screwed at that point unless ya mount a PA speaker on it. and ya can't Crack it for air flow in the summer when it's blasting hot outside or cold in the winter for a little natural air relief ya know. even if ya got ac and heat in that thing.
