try starting the solution in a cup of warm/hot water and mixing it well then adding it to the gallon but yes you should definitely disperse it evenly into the water column if not dripping it in for sensitive tanks

@justalo7617 plants naturally have leafs that will deteriorate and then new ones grow. This happened because I poured this mixture right over them. I do get leaf naturally deteriorating from time to time. If you want I'll post another short showing this in my other tank.

Stunning fish! Their behaviour will become more aggressive and change when they go into breeding mode. They will guard their spawning site but the tank looks big enough for the other fish to thrive in other parts of the tank. Congrats! It’s the secret that fish food manufacturers don’t want you to know! In the wild fish don’t eat regularly and have livers that sustain them through periods of scarcity. Most fish can go up to 2 weeks without food. Bigger fish can go longer! In fact, many monster fishkeepers (not recommended) starve their fish for 1-2 months to train them to eat pellets. Cheers bro!

@@d-godfather My Mbunas are quite young they’re constantly hungry. I need twice daily premium flakes and pellets for cichlids. I’ve tested parameters - all good. Perhaps I just have greedy kids! Sorry to hear about the power outage and all, worst thing for any fish keeper hope all is good!

@@Theholisticpractitioner my mbuna tank is new as well, have juvies, around 2 - 2.5 inches, just got them a month ago. I feed them twice a day too, but with the power outage ang scarce water, decided to short feed them ( every days) to control ammonia... Been fish keeping for 25 years already and i know most fishes are hardy..... But them going hungry makes them more aggressive, even my tanks with koi's and goldfishes became aggressive with each other when they where starved 😂

Yep fritzyme 7 is what I use for fish-in cycles, starting only with a few fish. I'm very generous with it at first, then I switch to seachem stability at water changes and sometimes just add some for the heck off it. No harm in reinforcing the cycle regardless of the age of the tank.

I'm a rainbowfish fanatic. I'm currently planning a 20 long and I've gotten my choice of rainbows down to 2 types. Either furcatas or threadfins. I'll run a seachem tidal 35 with glass lids, good lighting for plant growth and black sand. I'd like to have around 6 fairy corys with nerite snails, or 6 dwarf chaon loaches with no snails. In your opinion, which rainbowfish would work best in a 20 long? I had 10 praecox rainbows in my 55g but a 20 is too small for praecox rainbows. Just subbed to your channel. Can't wait to see how this tank develops

The only experience I have with nano rainbowfish is the Red Neon Blue Eye Rainbowfish. I have them in my 20 tall. They pretty much hide in the back All the time. I've seen the fork tail in my lfs and they look cool. Let me know how they are maybe I'll get some too.
