try starting the solution in a cup of warm/hot water and mixing it well then adding it to the gallon but yes you should definitely disperse it evenly into the water column if not dripping it in for sensitive tanks

Congrats! It’s the secret that fish food manufacturers don’t want you to know! In the wild fish don’t eat regularly and have livers that sustain them through periods of scarcity. Most fish can go up to 2 weeks without food. Bigger fish can go longer! In fact, many monster fishkeepers (not recommended) starve their fish for 1-2 months to train them to eat pellets. Cheers bro!

Yep fritzyme 7 is what I use for fish-in cycles, starting only with a few fish. I'm very generous with it at first, then I switch to seachem stability at water changes and sometimes just add some for the heck off it. No harm in reinforcing the cycle regardless of the age of the tank.

I'm a rainbowfish fanatic. I'm currently planning a 20 long and I've gotten my choice of rainbows down to 2 types. Either furcatas or threadfins. I'll run a seachem tidal 35 with glass lids, good lighting for plant growth and black sand. I'd like to have around 6 fairy corys with nerite snails, or 6 dwarf chaon loaches with no snails. In your opinion, which rainbowfish would work best in a 20 long? I had 10 praecox rainbows in my 55g but a 20 is too small for praecox rainbows. Just subbed to your channel. Can't wait to see how this tank develops
