  I have the gfx spinning chad ferguson rod. Every reel I put on it feels bumpy when reeling in. Even feels that way on the new hog seeker too. Any ideas why. I can't figure it out

  I have hirsi alarms and have not had one problem with them. I do not fish them in the rain because I'm not sure there warter proof. The roller wheel on mine are plastic and that should not break down. 8 years old and still kicking. Did you get them wet

  I still appreciate the time you answered my question about the NGT bait alarms a year or so ago! They may be cheap and not have a remote but they have served me fairly well for 2 years! Just started replacing batteries and tried to keep them out of the rain.

  These are budget cheap indicators. They are disposable. You use them til you break and buy again... Or you spend the money and buy quality.

  I Guess Chad Ferguson , advised you what to do, and that they added more material in the Design. I personally have never had a problem with the Moderate Action 7' 6" Cat Rod. GFX S Glass.

  @UnorthodoxOutdoorsTV Right..., I think they screwed up trying to design a cross species rod application. They need to just design a carp specific rod, as this type of fishing is gaining popularity; not my thing, but really like Catfishing. Conclusion: Believe Wisker Seekers will , across the board get things right. I was introduced to Channel cat Fishing , at Idahos Snake River, as a young kid and Old Andy would use kitchen Sponge chunks, dipped in BOWKERS Stink bait, lol. It sure worked great.

  Thanks for the video. Have you ever tried the prettied YOTO hair rigs that run on Amazon for about $12 for 24pc? Never had any issues with the line itself or hooks getting bent. Wondering about the sharpness though. Also I want my leader shorter. Thanks

  I've used several different pre-tied rigs on Amazon and have caught fish on them. Hook sharpness is hit and miss!

  It depends on which model you purchase. The ultralight models are very bendy whereas the heavy actions are more rigid. Thanks for watching.

  I built one & mine is outside also. I have a problem with mine getting PEA SOUP GREEN. Have you ever had this problem?? and what did you do to control it??

  I had a similar situation and found that it was getting light exposure through some of the cracks. This was causing algae to spread in the tank. Swapping filter material, cleaning the filter bucket and treating the water with an algae treatment worked OK. I even used a Barley Straw Pond treatment ball, found on Amazon. It cleaned the water well enough to keep the fish alive but it was still tinted. Eventually I drained the tank, cleaned everything, covered the cracks and started over. Hoping you can find the right combination. Good luck!!

  Please let people know these catfish have spikes right behind their front fence behind their gills. And they can puncture you they can hurt you. They could get infected if they stab you with that. How far as I know they can't poison you to death or kill you with the puncture. But I've had a catfish swallow my whole leg all the way up to my thigh and I'm 6 ft 350 lb back then. And was a certified lifeguard and could swim really good but it's still pulled me under until I pulled a whisker out of his face which hurt it and was hard to do. It brought me up to the surface of the water where I was able to throw the whisker into the boat and told my buddy this is what's got me. And it pulled me back under which I thought I would probably drown if I didn't get away this time. Sideways as hard as I could to get ahold of the catfish's gills and find out where the slit was to get my hand inside and rip a handful of gills out and then it brought me to the surface and spit me out. And I jokingly say I walked on the water to get back in the boat but I promise you it didn't take long for me to get back in the boat. I threw the gills into the boat too.I was wanting to take them back to the boat landing to show the guy there what happened and my buddy threw all the gills and the whisker into the lake. An old lady and her boat came into the cove where we were at she heard me holler or scream whatever you want to call it. She retrieved the gills and the whisker and fathers back to the boat landing to tell the boat landing people that she thought we'd drowned somebody. I said thank you lady for bringing that stuff back here to show the boat landing people. That long thing is a whisker off a giant catfish when I told her what it was she threw it down saying that's not possible. And the other hand she had the gills obviously reddish and had bone structures in it. I said lady that's the gills I ripped out of that catfish and that's the only way I got that giant catfish to let me go. The boat landing man went over and looked at it said yep that's catfish whiskers and I'm guessing that's the gills you ripped out of it. I said you can get them both DNA tested we didn't ground nobody that was me screaming when that catfish had me as it was dragging me under it. That's what that lady heard outside the cove. I'm glad she retrieved the stuff but she still thought we'd drown somebody but it was me about to drown
