Check for water in your brake fluid and change your pads because they're probably glazed over. Invest in some HH Sintered pads by EBC, theyre absolutely phenomenal and they dont fade.

My plan for orgs that don’t allow helmet cams is to get the insta360 GO 3, it’s small enough to be able to mount it inside the helmet itself, under the visor. Plus it gives you that F1 POV which is pretty awesome.

They also asked me to remove my chin mount that weekend. I’ve been using it for years, I removed it for good because you truly don’t know if it would be safe or not until it’s too late.

@@hanksamillion6170 Issue, really isn't the non-tethered part, it is if you drop and the camera or mount catch on the ground it can really snap your neck around.

Must be something new … they got me 2nd to last session after another rider said something to a CR about it. You could tell the CR knew nothing about it as he looks at another rider for confirmation when I told him I’ve used it for years.

That was me crashing in front of the corner worker in turn 3 lmao. My left front brake caliper was coming off and it got stuck in my wheel after I got off the track, causing the front to lock up.

@@OhioCBR I was fine, luckily I got it slowed down and off the track before it locked up. I was able to finish the weekend out with the help of the N2 staff. They helped find the parts I needed.

Sorry, it wasn't he seam in the pavement that caused this. I'm not trying to beat you up here but you should investigate why this happened so you can prevent it from happening again. It could be a number of things like, something on the track surface or brand new tires that were not scrubbed in properly or mismatched tire profiles among other things. I saw a guy go down in the same manner because he filled his brake reservoir to the top leaving no room for expansion once the fluid got warm causing the front brakes to be applied. Lots to think about here, even more than what i listed

And there you have it. I am so sick of dodging poop, grass, potholes, dogs, left of center cars.. ok you get it. I just can't even get a buzz riding on surface streets any more.. all danger limited rewards (at least for sport bikes). If I went Harley slow and smelled flowers I guess it would be fine :). I am glad the rider is ok. Could have been a lot worse with that on coming traffic.
