Where is everyone locating the 50CM...I want one but can't find
Yes
Glad you got it. I was given one 2 months ago for my b-day. No G.1 Explorer on top tube. I like that. Didn't like the forks bent forward aft. I was able to cold set straight. Love steel. Hope you and ur wife enjoy riding them.
It’s a 248 bike from Walmart. Since the brand has come to Walmart the bikes are better. More updateable. And more to offer.
Wal-Mart bike = reassemble it all youyrself.
I just bought my Salsa yesterday at REI. It’s the top spec 1x12 deore, 29ner with RST aerial Air shocks and hydraulic shimano discs. Compared to the Cannondale and CO-OP it rode so much better. Proper XC/Trail bike.
I say ride it until you wear the bar tape out. I like cloth tape, myself. It's good, and it's cheap.
It’s a shame these types of bike shops are closing every day. It’s a good thing you’re showing it off giving it a little plug. Good show .
If u dont pull it all apart and grease all the bearings it will eat itself.
@@stewart4711 I did all that. Once I filmed the video. I pulled off wheels BB and headset on both
If u dont grease the hubs it will eat itself.
Preach. Mine came overnight and dry.

I'm surprised they didn't use the R2 rear derailleur; it's as cheap as a Tourney. Good upgrade without changing too many parts would be the L-TWOO T2 clutched derailleur; good for the freewheel now, and good for a 7-speed 42t cassette later.
I enjoyed the video!
Almost 50 miles. Had to finally tighten the front QR after i dropped the bike, rear brake adjustment, front derailleur adjustment and everything else is not bad. Ill have to do something with the headset/fork alignment and Im afraid of the wheels.
@@davidtinnerello1524 yeah we might change the group set. And cranks. Other is hydraulic brakes not a bad bike for the price. It gets people into the sport at a good price. Stay away from the hyper gravel. It has bolt on rims. And it’s 498. I think the price were swapped.
@@Wannaridebikes I was thinking about going 1x on it with higher gear on the front. And climbing gears on the back. I have no idea where I'd start so I hope you do a video with some dimensions we'd need to do something like that. I almost want it to be a sort of adventure/commute hybrid, and the hills here might be steep but they're short and I can put down power. I'm actually afraid to bend the crankset on this, as well. Hope the upgrades come easy!
Nice!
@@HanzelFonferek I might update parts but gonna be riding this. To see how it is. Not bad for the price.
@@Wannaridebikes WHEELSET! Idk if this is normal but these wheels seem to be tensioned fairly decently, just the the hub seems OFF CENTER. Is this to make room for the brake disc and the freewheel? BTW, that front derailleur seems like a bit of a pain, but if you can perfectly line it up its not but but YEAH. LET ME KNOW IF I SHOULD UPGRADE THE WHEELSET BECAUSE IM AFRAID OF THE WHEELS.
@@davidtinnerello1524 it’s a nice bike to ride I rode it. My second bike I bought from Walmart. I think. Only two. ..but I got two of these one for my wife of course. Upgrades yes. But we will ride the components on it til we gather up parts. The wheels are ok. The brakes. Maybe hydraulic one are needed. Adjust the ones on it. Work good. Just know it’s a Walmart brand and bike. Budget and parts are cheap. But for that price. The perks are nice. This can get someone started in the gravel sport of bikes. This is showing budget bikes are getting better. Ozark is making a name for budget bikes for sure
I enjoyed the video!
❤ 😇 ⭐
I said I got two more orange. I know I’m color blind but I know they are blue.
Have Same Bike Trek Y3 since 1998, Still with same Derailer, Replacement Tires, Brakes, and Same Paint, And ToeClip Pedals, still have to get new Inner Tubes to fix the flat tires, and probably new brakes, chain maintenance done, haven't rode much in the last few years
Great video. I don’t have a one wheel trailer, and thought about a burley but just bought a Aesop trailer instead after seeing the pros and cons of carrying stuff and glad to have an ebike to use for the sake that everything is heavy anyway 😅 roads can be torture be safe,
A lot of creators will not use old go pros. But I case people only have the old one to use I hope this helps
🔥 Awesome 😎
I deleted this video re edited it and still put my mistake uploaded. Whatever Robert is my other channel.
pretty sure you have to have some play to prevent damage to the frame. my trailer attaches to like a spring mount to put play in the system.
When the movement is there it can damage something. The BOB yak trailer has no play no wiggle if that did not damage bikes it been used for years. I will find something to stop that wiggle it does it because the mount to the bike opens up to be wider that is causing all the play.
My cousin had a bob trailer. He used it to bike from Gunnison CO to i believe Wray CO, on his way to Wisconsin. His plans changed and he biked from Wray to Fort Collins CO. He ended up flying to Wisconsin, but it was still a lot of biking. Good luck with your trip. Hope to see some videos.
Awesome purchase. Sweet deal, man. Take us for a ride.
Yes it was a good deal for me.
interesting find, what are you putting that on?
Waahahhhhha
Noice! That's what I ride is a gt aggressor pro
Nice I got mine free. And I’m gonna upgrade it
I can't remember if I ever mentioned it, but check out "Tour de Fat" in Fort Collins, CO. I'm sure there are a lot of videos of the bike parade and events.
I searched for this like for years I stopped searching and boom it fell in my lap.
I got Marin. I really dig my bike.
7:32 Depending on where it rubs, maybe you can file it down and sand it down smoothly. Not all glasses fit everyone. I've not worn glasses in years as I got mud and insects behind the lens. But these look nice, I know Adidas has glasses with foam around them. but this won't work if it does not fit perfectly to the rider. So goggles is better IMO. If they use proper foam, and you opt for vented lens or vented foam or make holes in it, you can get air flow. Some goggles you can buy spare foam, so can modify one to have holes for extra air flow. But lenses with vents exist, it actually makes a difference. but if riding in mud, or it's pollen I wouldn't use that, but to prevent fog it helps. The most comfortable eye wear I've ever had so far is Leatt Velocity 6.5 goggles, super comfortable foam, the part that is against the skin, is super comfy, does not scratch or itch, unlike 100% goggles do. But some goggles fail at the strap arms, mine did. So trying to get them replaced under warranty. First pair lasted quite long, eventually cracked at the frame. But the one I currently used snapped at the arm, and at the spot where the Roll-off system was mounted. But the roll-off system ads flare, but won't scratch the lens as easily then, but without the lens scratches way too easily. I don't know if that has to do with them making it bulletproof (pistol proof really)
4:23 Great point. IMO the fence is unnecessary, but if there was tall ditch or slope it would make sense. Shame there are homeless people in USA, in Norway this is very rare, if you are homeless here it's by choice as the government will take care of you. And if you see homeless people, beggars her it's likely,, it's scammers, getting picked up by a nice car afterwards, not sure how it's worth it to sit half day not doing anything trying to get tiny bit of money, better to do a productive job. maybe they do it cus they can't get a job. But if so then you can apply for workless aid money. So this is weird, maybe they do but do this in addition. I don't know, but why bother. Maybe if they just came to the country and want to maximize the income. Maybe those are forced to do so by criminals. I haven't seen those babushkas selling magazines in years. If you can't work at all for some reason, even at young age you can retire. Those that struggle can get into assisted living. Or get help getting an apartment. There are possibilities, and economy is not that bad in Norway. so no reason to be homeless as far as I can see. But in USA it seems to be a major problem. At least in certain cities. Only place I know of with homeless people is Oslo, there it actually was a problem and still is probably. Roma/Rom people set up illegal camps, make a mess, it costs millions to clean up.
3:35 Using a bell is also a good idea. It's a legal requirement in Norway, if used on public paths, roads.
1:52 This path is actually nice and green. 2:07 This is not my style, it's a mess for most part. not really art IMO. 2:16 closest to art is those cherries or what ever it is.
0:13 For some reason the video compression on this video is weird as it's flashing / rapidly switching between video compression levels at the gravel path. Maybe this is a new thing, I've see it before recently, I remember the compression thing being an issue before for years, but this thing is weird. Maybe KZread implemented different kind of compression. 1:18 For some reason it's not at the bridge footage. But you rode much slower there.
I it works it's fine. I seen new bikes sold for similar price at a department store. part's weren't too far off these, but that's cheapest everything, and rigid fork. But this one is cheaper. so not crazy price. But would I buy it? NO. But if you don't mind the geometry, this is fine as a shopping bike you can lock up and not worry about. It's 26er with stick tyres, so it will be be a speed demon. but not as nice frame. Cannondale has great welds back in Made in the USA the days. But geometry sucks. 1:30 Zefal is actually a known brand, they are sold in bike shops too, online retailers too. Their protective film can be problematic, adhesive is super strong and peels off pain, at least on Trek it does. 2:01 A mirror is actually neat it it actually does the job.
Can’t wait to ride again
I had a great time riding bikes with you 👻 awesome video as always love ❤️ u 4 life and ty for always editing my videos your the best hubby ever
I like it. Maybe some black spray paint to finish them off. It would also be cool if they were easy on and off so you could carry them into the store and use them for your shopping and then carry them into the house when you got home.
I’m gonna use plastic spray paint on them yellow to match. And yes. Bike rides and carry to a store. I’ll be doing a whole video on when I do it I planned the whole build vid but got lost in the diy zone
I’ll be buying better j hooks. This way the bends are uniform.
Bought the same bike from REI after testing a few others. I love it for the trails right out the box.
I think I watched on a bigger screen that is the issue. It was chippy like like squares. Focusing. Maybe the bigger screen gave it that look. I watched it on my iPad and iPhone it looked fine. Let me know tomorrow it will be uploaded.
Which Salsa Rangedinder is it? They seem to have several. Also, what made you decide to buy at REI? They don't have many of the big names and I don't know how their quality compares
I got the 12 speed one 29r. With a dropper post. REI. Sells canondale bikes or co-op. At times you might find Hiabike there. They had a super light. Canondale road bike 9 grand. They sent it to la. Because no one bought here in pgh.
I already told you this, but might be useful for others. I got 4 session it does great in sub zero temps, even down to - 10c, but in the summer it does well until it gets to 30c then it can shut off due to overheating if ran too long. But a flaw with this camera is the firmware was buggy and never got fixed so could chbage settings blindly when display got crazy. But a robust camera, super small. But bad distortion, no way to correct it in camera. Hero7 black does not work in sub zero temps, not even in - 1c, so I want to get another action cam I can record 4k in the winter too. Newer cameras use enduro batteries which can do down to atleast - 18 - 20c in freezer according DC Rainmaker review. 7 was reliable for me, no problems. So I won't get rid of it. But I'm considering hero 12.
Yeah the white batteries for the go pro can be in cold weather.
Be careful with giving out your address there are weirdos out there.
Right.
@@Wannaridebikes I keep it secret but if it's a fellow youtuber, why not. I know Matty Active got one. I don't know who else got it, that's the first channel I saw with his bike. Maybe it will come to a store near you eventually. I was tnot surprised it went so fast. So definitely good choice by Wallmart. They will likely stock up.
@@mtbboy1993 yeah I’m looking for one but where I am they don’t have one
This bike I can not find anywhere I live. Been searching for over a week.
It sold out on Wallmart website too. This bike went out of stock fast. No wonder.
