AVA is the name under which Irish singer/songwriter Éabha McMahon is presenting her solo work (AVA being the phonetical spelling of Éabha).
Wildflower is the debut album from AVA. The album comprises of her original songs that encapsulate the rhythm of the earth; the unwavering momentum of love and loss and the global concerns we have for ourselves, for each other and for the world we call home. Contemporary with traditional Irish influences, the album has its roots in World Music, haunting at times, lavish at others, irresistible melodies with ethereal overtones.
Éabha has already garnered world attention for her unique voice, firstly as part of Anúna, the renowned Irish Choral group and then as principal vocalist with the globally successful Irish music collective Celtic Woman. She has been number one on both Billboard’s World Music Chart and Classical Chart and has received her first Grammy nomination.

Lyrics: Sometimes I still hear the sound of two drunk men echoing through an old song I still remember the sticky old tables the smell of old ale on the floor Though it took me to see my own home from an airplane to realise it's all that I want And I had to leave home to see what was out there I always had a foot out the door Although overseas I can still feel the fire of that dirty old town and it burns D'fhág mé mo chroí where she's waiting for me cause she knows that one day I'll return I know it feels like I left in a hurry but that's just how she taught me goodbyes D'fhág mé mo chroí where she's waiting for me and I wish I could be there tonight Oh I wish I could be there tonight I miss the faces and hi what's the stories from strangers that feel just like home I use the same old one liners that you taught me while drinking until the bar close But now when I go home I sleep in the guest room With photos of me in that house I miss the days when we ran through the garden the way that my mother would shout Although overseas I can still feel the fire of that dirty old town and it burns D'fhág mé mo chroí where she's waiting for me cause she knows that one day I'll return I know it feels like I left in a hurry but that's just how she taught me goodbyes D'fhág mé mo chroí where she's waiting for me and I wish I could be there tonight Oh I wish I could be there tonight I know it feels like I left in a hurry but that's just how she taught me goodbyes D'Fhag mé mo chroí where she's waiting for me and I wish I could be there tonight Oh I wsish I could be there tonight D'fhág mé mo chroí translates as I left my heart

Zhomaigawd, a new Eabha song. <3 <3 <3 and it's as beautiful as the journey I've had between her releases.
Oh, and I had dreamed last night that you had a new song! Dreams do come true. Beautiful group and cover.

Its growing 😊
This new group is gonna be really good 😊
Beautiful ballad ❤. Beautifully sung.
Good morning from Canada🦋🌈💖
Im here ! !!
So beautiful ❤
This language seems filled with magic. In American English you can sometimes rig up a clever metaphor that might connect with someone, but this has meaning and memory and magic throughout. And this arrangement of these songs- the lilt and the flow- just thank you- alla y'all.
Clapping so out of the beat (crowd) that crotchets become triplets over time…😂. Beautiful performance though.
Absolutely gorgeous. I also sing alto, and it's very refreshing to be able to sing Celtic music in my range. A lot of Celtic women singers are sopranos so it's hard to sing in that range. Another favorite alto singer of mine is Karen Carpenter (RIP), and she said it best, the money's in the basement, not the attic!
❤beautiful
hey. . thank you so much for this song. this was my #1 song on Spotify in 2022 and #2 in 2023 (behind Seas suas). my da died a couple of weeks ago, and i found this to be so meaningful and so soothing. . seriously- here's one human being - among *so many* others- who so appreciate your willingness to be genuine and vulnerable, for sharing these images and impressions- as well as a sense of true compassion. i honestly don't believe i'm overstating it. you are blest with a gift- thanks for sharing it.
Incredible! Bravo bravo!
A great way to end the year, with a song from Eabha McMahon also with Susan McFadden and Megan Walsh. It's wonderful to see them together. 💚💚💚
Happy New Year, Eabha! Looking forward the best year yet!
