  It looks similar to the covering of snow in Reykjavík, icy but not overly deep. I am glad the wind has now calmed, though!

  In daylight this type of storms are less video friendly. It was quite active for a short period of time. I don't know how many ground strikes happened in my nearby area but well over 7000 lightnings where recorded that day.

  Around 18:00 CEST. The thunderstorm faded away, but lightning monitoring websites show the area it covered well.
