  I met him in NYC while he was scheuled to play Prof piano concerto at Alice Tully Hall around 22 or 23 years ago.

  Ha, I went to that performance at then-Avery Fisher hall. He played the Prokofiev 2, and some concert-goer fell asleep and snored through most of his performance. It was infuriating. Shortly after, Volodos never performed in the states again.

  Wow I didn't know these kind of stuff happened in the US too... I'm Brazilian. Last year I watched Stephen Hough perform Rach 3 at Sala São Paulo and the crowd couldn't shut up. The man was a gentle tho and even went for pictures afterwards... Yuja Wang couldn't stand with the lack of education of some of my compatriots from Rio de Janeiro, she stopped playing mid presentation and left the hall.

  @@mateuscosta787 Yuja Wang stopped playing and walked out? She never restarted the concert? I feel sorry for the good quiet audiences who behaved.

  @@SimonCU Oh it seems my previous reply was deleted for I did link an article. Yes, you're right! After leaving the stage Yuja did come back, and she gave a heck of a performance (smashing some keys tho to make it clear she wasn't all smiles with the audience). After reading some articles on this incident I'd say she dealed with the situation elegantly. I tried to share the articles but KZread won't let me.

  @@mateuscosta787 I remember attending a recital of Andras Schiff at the Royal Festival Hall London. One of the audience coughed (small one) and Schiff over reacted and turn his head and did a loud "SHOO!!" to the audience. Everyone was shocked how he over reacted. After saying the loud SHOO he announce to the audience to not make a noise while he plays.

  J'aimerai qu'il vienne à la "Grange au Lac" à Evian en Haute-Savoie , près de Genève...Une Très belle acoustique appréciée par Sir Andras Schiff et Martha Argerich...Kantorov.....et bien d'autres...Le Lac Léman inspirant et relaxant face aux montagne; une salle atypique au milieu des mélèzes bientôt doublée d'un dôme qui accueillera les plus petites formations de musique de chambre qui joueront en son centre...et de vraies mélomanes impatients...Succès assuré et surtout émotion partagée

  Thank you so much for uploading this. I listened this last Sunday in Liege, absolutely enchanting beyond description..... My recording was too bad to share, yours are good enough❤ I recommend everyone to go his concert for live play. It is X times better than recording.... 🎉😊🙏
