Thanks for sharing your collection. They're not holding any spots in my collection but hearing about you seeing them with bands you weren't interested in ( at the time) reminds me when I saw Jeff Beck and I didn't know the mahavishnu orchestra with John McLaughlin 😊. I really got a dose of jazz fusion and Beck came out to join in. Twisted Sister and Cinderella, were 2 bands I couldn't get past the names 😊. Great video. Greg

Shit Craig I called U Stuart sorry wow like I told U I have 300 punk hard core and not much else but I do have ace freahly solo and fractured mirror and all the ones that came after are still brilliant to this day was the first LP I ever bought with my own money and I still like kiss LPs up until destroyer high end music enganireing worked for bands like iron maiden but I loved the raw rock of there first one s also got a few black sabbath and ACDC cus well I'm very immature and just a old kid LoL 1970 model witch by one of your comments I think were about the same age were do U live brother carnt pick the dialect I'm from Australia and we just mangle the english language and all sound the same enjoyed this one peace and love lloydy I'll get your name right from now on LoL

Love that Eurythmics album, and have all of their stuff. Doors LA Woman is my absolute favorite of their catalog, and I have them all. I need some Adam Ant. I had most of his stay time on cassettes I’d recorded from friends at the time in the 80s. Rock out with Saxon!

Really enjoyed Sturt I have about 300 hundred hardcore punk vinyl LPs and not much else funny enough carnt stand black flag bar a few songs Keith sings with them big circle jerks and off fan have heaps of there s .hay brother why do U keep the vinyl out of sleve do U just do that for blog and I no people do it in post but all the time they will get scratched more easily I would think cheers peace and love lloydy

I put them inside an inner sleeve protector and keep it behind the outer sleeve in that protector with the opening on the top for easier access. Basically less handling of sleeves, I'll do a short video explaining myself a little better later this week. thanks for watching

Hey Craig! Thanks for the shout out! The first 3 Rainbow albums are essential, everything after that is for completest, which I am. I can probably say the same about the first 3 Queen albums. Salut Craig. I'm a big fan of Rainbow.Bent out of shape is a great album.My favorite with J. L Turner. Not a big Queen fan but the game is my favorite Queen album. The first Montrose album with Sammy Hagar is an absolute hard-rock classic. Escape is a great album. An AOR classic.

Ohhh... Godsmack. Don't see that too much in the vc. As a young guy, that takes me back to my University school days. Voodoo (from the self titled album) was getting plays in the clubs, bars and strip clubs all the time. Pretty cool stuff here as I like most of the bands you've featured here. Well done Craig. Jailbreak was on the Australian Dirty Deeds, which i got at the very first record show i ever went to, along with my copy of the Mothers - Freak Out. But i had that '74 Jailbreak record to tide me over till i found the Australian LPs too, haha!

I dig Santanic Majesties for the very reason people diss it - it’s a bit all over the place. It’s a perfect reflection of Brian Jones at the time. It could of been a classic album had they added Child of the Moon, We Love You and Dandelion & then removed the 9 minute sing this all together.

At times I cannot believe those albums are 40 years old! All records I either have, or certainly heard. Very much like you, Thompson Twins, Culture Club, bands we referred to as "prep" crap, I never gave a fair shake. Nowadays I find I have softened to allow more diversity...some! Lol! Love most Nazareth but checked out after Malice In Wonderland in 1980, but I have heard that one. Pales in comparison to their 70's output imho. I think lots of people associate Bush with Anthrax hence the Thrash connection, but Armored Saint were always just straight up hard rock/heavy metal to my friends and I. Solid picks from 84 Craig.
