Planning to buyy first electric scooter soon. Also planning deliveries. Im a 265lbs guy and will have my 3rd kid on the way. So hoping ill have. A good run for this new venture. Just need the deliveries for extra money to save for the new kid. 🎉🎉🎉 good video man. It gives me a sense of how scooters work as a delivery vehicle.

Delivery rating system. If you go below a certain acceptance rate you'll lose the "dash now" option meaning you'll not be able to get benefits of working exactly when you want.

Doordash is legit they actually give you delivery for scooter or ebike and give you closer routes Uber zero delivery for scooter or ebike even tho they do allow but offer nothing for work

I don't know about you but I've done uber eats on bike and have gotten plenty of orders. Although going to places like chic fil a I can see that for every 20 doordash orders....theres 1 uber eats order. Which mean its most likely like that across the board. Meaning hardly anyone uses uber eats to order food. I've tested this put for the past 2 months and yep...mostly doordash gets the bulk of people using for food delivery. So if you want to keep orders coming in and money in your pocket...doordash is the app to use. I've done 1,000 deliveries. The same can be said for grubhub and all the others. I'm sure many areas are slightly different but all across Chicago...its mostly doordash orders. I mean uber eats was pretty late to becoming a thing...uber is known mostly for picking up people to drop off and not food...plus uber pays crap for delivery. I make 2x the amount doing DD over UE. Plus UE wants you to go far deliveries 7x out of 10 compared to DD that'll give you 2 mile deliveries over 5 miles for half the pay. Its crazy. I once got a 6 dollar delivery for UE for 8 miles into the city. Which means I had to ride my bike 16 miles in total...there and back. Bonkers.

Is $20 an hour considered good with DD? I've not delivered for awhile due to the horrendous tax I would have to pay between my fulltime and working part time with uber, but even with uber it was averaging $30 - $35 an hour.

Today I got an UE order. In my state there is no “scooter” vetting: only bicycle. SO after receiving the order I got a text from the customer “Are you really delivering on a bicycle?” I texted “Electric scooter” They texted back “No thanks, I’ll pick it up myself” WTF? It was a “match” order. Is this some kinda “check” from Uber Eats?
