I owned one of these in the 90s it had a custom paint job a carbon race can kn filter and dyno jet kit in the carbs, on the dyno it put out 60 bhp at the back wheel it was a great bike but if you rode it in traffic on a sunny day it felt like a oven, I wished I still had it today.

Hi dear. I have Kia cerato 2012 model.after 80 km speed getting humming sound ..I am confused it's front wheel bearing sound or the gear box bearing sound.. Please tell me what is actual issue with your experience.

Joey Agosto it’s not so much a calibration thing. It’s a type of dyno thing. My dyno is a Mustang eddy current dyno. Bhp is measured in steady state (constant rpm per step) with no friction losses like tire, chain, gears, clutch etc accounted for, the only corrects SAE STP atmospheric correction. This was a MUCH older Aprilia. The 16 plus model years are about 18-20 bhp stronger on same dyno. Perspective, Shakey’s BSB Ducati on race fuel (1199cc Corse Motor, ecu etc, literally British Superbike now locally owned) did 172 bhp on this same dyno setting all-time record on my dyno for a naturally aspirated V-Twin. Hope this clears up any confusion

Dynroom is indeed a toxic environment. Our new room is better but the reality is still that you are working inside a very fancy, well ventilated muffler of sorts. The 2016 and later versions on this motor make 20-30 bhp more with similar mods, stupid loud/very short silencers do not help either generation nor my body in dyno room lol

If you really want performance just buy a Gen2 VMAX and ride,,,no need to mess. :)
Jay Hall no joke, once re-flashed with ECU Unleashed or Rexxer or Woolich or whatever to kill the torque limiting in lower and top gears the new V-Max is insanely powerful. With reflash, good pipes and smart intake mods, the newer V-Max is crazy fast!

Hell yes I would, pretty sure new motor will pull 14,350 in top gear, maybe, just maybe, mid 190's, with a decent tail wind 204mph is possible basically stock!

Killer work, Micah! I'm a new BV 500 owner and was thrilled to find out AF1 is all of 2 miles from me. In fact, I'm having AF1 put fresh rubber on her next week... I've already added slider weights and a TurboKit exhaust with great results, but apparently there's a bit more cheap power to be found! From your previous dyno run with just pipe/variator on this Beo, I noticed at 70mph there was a 4-5whp jump from stock (I doubt the variator was contributing much to this at cruising speeds), so it would appear the intake is good for another 4-5whp in conjunction with these mods?!? I'm planning to simply remove the restrictive 19mm inlet tube from the stock airbox. Seems this should provide 80-90% the benefit of a pod filter with minimal added noise. Thoughts? I'll try and PM you on the forum as well. Thanks!

I have a 2009 Raider, I wonder when someone is gonna get serious with these engines. No cams, no pistons, no porting or polishing. All we have so far is bolt on stuff. These engines are so underated its not even funny. I think 125 or better at the rear wheel is about right.

Stock on my Dyno for these bikes is right at 48-51 bhp. The motors last forever but they are not by any means fast/quick/powerful.
