I don't like the jokes though. They fail to hit the spot. They should concentrate less on goofy jokes and more on the action/horror part like chainsaw man.

You know what’s funny.. at the beginning of making the video I hadn’t pieced that together in my mind yet and the clips being back to back was coincidental😂 but by the time I was done it all clicked for me.. I had no idea the timelines were split like that and the kids had grew up.. I thought it was all one moment.. I was sitting there like “ohhhhhh I get it now”😂

You can trace the connections between some of the characters from the facility and characters/monsters in Maru's timeline (you are right about Maru being Tokio's son, the fact that Maru means circle like the one drawn under the baby's foot was a clue non-Japanese-speaking-viewers couldn't easily catch) Also, one of the other connections is particularly heartbreaking in my opinion...

Some can be understood just watching the characters on the 2 timelines how they appear and what they say/can do etc. The most difficult to get is probably the origin of the little boy with ice powers but once you get it it's all logical and coherent with the information the series gives you. Also don't waste brainpower on the faceless babies: there is a little hint but there is no real information to understand what they are yet. I put one more hint after the dots about the heartbreaking connection I was talking about, it's not strictly a spoiler but you may prefer to discover it by yourself . . . . . Ready? . . . . The garage man-eater...

Alright, time to clear some confusions you’ve got: 1. Archer isn’t similar to Shirou, Archer is literally Shirou from the Future 2. Due to things going on behind the scenes Shirou’s abilities weren’t able to be properly explained, basically Shirou copies a Weapon, it’s history, including all techniques & Skills associated with it, basically Gilgamesh only made him a better fighter the longer their fight went on
