Is that your signature duct tape as well?
You're playing the boring settings on the amp. Try mid-delay in the middle and gain knobs on 10 or 11 with bridge or middle pickup. This is the George Harrison, Eric clapton sounds you get on Abbey Road and the White Album. Add a little overdrive and you can get the Bad Company, Zeppelin and Santana sounds. Santana uses vibrato on his bends. He can quickly bend a note four times to make it sound like a vibrato. You're putting me off to sleep.
ive read there was a guy that would come around jimis studio with all kinds of new sound gadgets or electronics, always had something, all different kinds of things ... guy was really good at that specific point in time ..
I got out of playing for a while and bought this guitar to get back into it. Had a musician friend help me set it up properly and this thing can JAM. Totally worth the price tag. The only problem I have with it, is that now I want to buy more guitars. They are a self replicating species.
Two guitar mounts. End of story :)
The Boss Metalzone: 1 pedal to rule them all!
Yet further proof that I'm just a Tele guy.
Mine is la grange balinese and legs.
Nice.
Jazzmaster
I was ok until you played riff raff, back in 10 mins...
Welp, the G was out so they’re definitely Les Pauls! 😂
3rd guitar what brand is that sir?
Nice video.
Standard definitely. I don't mind the Deluxe for cleans, but the Classic was terrible. The Deluxe is underrated but the Classic may have more volume output, but sounds cheaper to me.
Could never get over the look of the telecaster 🤮
Looks cool. Sounds like shit
Beautyfull guitar
I have both, but the one I couldn't live without is my tele.
Under that horrible nicotine yellow nitro clear coat is a lovely bright white acrylic color coat.
This comparison never makes sense, because you already chose what sounds you like partially by which guitar players/songs you like. For example If you liked Jimi Hendrix's playing, maybe the strat is that extra X% that made it, therefore you might think you like a tele, but your heart chose the strat by liking Hendrix his guitar sounds. Just a small example to think about, you probably fell in love with 100's of songs where you indirectly also fell in love with probably a strat, since it's simply on more popular hit songs. Maybe if they didn't use a strat it fell short. Dire strait's Mark Knopfler for example while playing great his 4th position strat tone is extremely recognizable even by non-musicians. The 2nd position on a strat is basically half of the red hot chili pepper songs or John mayer songs, guitar tones that often people want to imitate. How many people want to sounds like SRV, David Gilmour etc. how much of that % is purely the playing and how much % is it the strat? The sound inspires soft solo's and chordal playing in those mixed lead/rhythm patterns that created entire songs.
2600 for a preowned casino? LOL
The last one is my favourite.
I purchased one of these with a bigsby from guitar village. Excellent guitar and service. A real keeper I will never sell it.
Beautiful...
Amazing Cüntz guitar!
The delay, heavenly
Is crying allowed here… well to late…
Beautiful guitars!
Good old Mr Lane! The power of decent teachers!
The Gretsch
A Telecaster style guitar is all you need. Fender, Squier, Hohner it’s all the same.
After watching this clip, I bought this guitar. I couldn’t be happier, sounds even better than on this recording and is very well made. The setup was bad out of the box but it wasn’t a problem for me as I know how to fix it. Don’t expect Gibson of course, it’s 10 times less expensive but still it’s a great guitar!

Martin sounds better
Sign me up for the Deluxe. Oh, wait. I already have one! I bought it about six weeks ago to celebrate the Big 6-0. Sunburst, or course. The plain maple top has a beautifully symmetrical grain pattern. I'm primarily a Fender guy, so I love the brighter tone of the mini buckers. Plus, I'm a HUGE Thin Lizzy fan. (Actually, at 5'9" & 150, I'm not really huge...) Robbo and Scott used their Deluxes almost exclusively on their first four albums with TL, and I love that sound. A Deluxe and a DSL is a match made in Tone Heaven. But, geez! That thing weighs a ton. You could use it as a battleship anchor.
Both are good, just curious of the songs used tho... Can anyone tell please?
Is that a performer telecaster?
American Vintage II 1963 Telecaster :)
Strat duh
1.72 neck👌
The way the dynamics interweave between them...
I think they both sound pretty good so I’m going to have to just be neutral.
great review,, shows how good it is without any distractions of other pedals in in the chain.
To much Treble !
Surely, most amps have reverb?
What is it ? A OM 41. - 42
