    FYI you don't have to take the fairing off to do the oil change on the gen 4 ZX10r, you can do it all from under the bike. Took me about 10 minutes to do mine.

    Idiot first make sure u can fill her up and change the oil filter, otherwise if u drain her in that instant and it’s not possible to fill her up again ,because they are stuck for some reason. Then u got a moving issue👍

    And what makes you think I didn’t check? If the video was helpful, which is probably why you watched it, give it a thumbs up. If you don’t like something, suggest it in a nicer way or scroll on.... keyboard warriors eh.

    @@divinephotography9648 Maybe for filming but i have a 2013 zx10r and a 2019 zx4r and i have NEVER removed the fairings....just put them on the stands and use a oil filter wrench and put 2 to 4oz of Marvel mystery oil conditioner. Good video editing by the way.

    Nothing at all. Essentially the same thing. Except you will have 2 long cables acting as a potential risk. They were removed purely from a safety stand point. I wouldn't want cables flying loose at 160mph.

  • @rickycalderon5163

    I did it but left the cables w a few tie wraps on it no engine light turn on

  • @divinephotography9648
    @divinephotography96488 жыл бұрын

    +Ricky Calderon The cables have nothing to do with the engine light. The cables are removed because with a replacement exhaust you don't need the valve control. The cables are removed purely for safety.

    removing the panels can be troublesome especially the bottom snap bolt plug due to sand and dust. useful tips: turn the handle towards left, n it gives some space behind the front wheel. from there, use 2 extension of ratchet spanner n u can remove the oil filter from the front of fearing (behind the front wheel). save significant amount if time from removing and replacing the fairing

    Though great instruction I found that you don't need to completely remove the servo motor, just get it out enough to take out the cables and then reinstall it.
