that must be the most genteel and sweet march I have ever heard! I know that marches were popular dance pieces in the good old days before Faschists & Nazis made them a mainstay of German pop music in the 1930s when I grew up and most of their songs were even in march tempo. My favorite 78 at that time was "Die Berliner Luft" (from an opereta) - until my father instructed me that I could no longer play that record - and when I asked why? His reply was because the composer was a jew and the local Nazi leader in our village could give him all kinds of trouble . The song was composed by Paul Linke - and I found the original on KZread amazingly - it was for a child like me a very joyful song!
